That's really exciting! I love the first night in a new house. :) I hope everything goes smoothly.

I've also finished The Gemel Ring, not for a goal.
I can read Earthly Delights, which has RADISH in it. "Opening the oven to see if a cake is rising is like pulling up radishes to see if they are growing." location 3261
ETA - I'm going to read it even if we don't need radish. I've been wanting to start this series over again.

I wrote those goals and in my mind it was an alternative to the goal "Read a book which has the main location (setting) as a known planet other than Earth" which had to be a known planet. That is, in my mind, "outer space" could be any other planet or just set in space."
Oh, good. This is one of those books DH had that I realized I'd not read. It's pretty good so far. I think I'll put it in the "pass on to the kids" box when I'm finished. :)

It doesn't have children as a genre, but I checked the word count anyway and it's over the minimum.

However, I finished two books:

Welcome back. I see you enjoyed some reading time. :)

I reported back in post 280, which may have become lost in the shuffle, that I'd finished The Texan's Wager First published Oct 29, 2002, for goal 1. But I don't believe it's been updated. Is there something I missed?

Which one do you mean? The one with the X author? If so, the book is still being read."
Sorry. I meant for the first published on the 29th book. From post 280.

That's good! I started doing challenges to help reduce my TBRs. Now the list is about 3 times longer than it was. :)
Though one of my current goals is to read all the books in the house and decide which are worth keeping, not that so many are on e-book. So I'm going to my book shelves first, and I am getting some read that way.

Since the 29th goal is already finished and I don't have to get to Magic Breaks immediately, I can read [book:Lo..."
Well I won't be horning in on that goal. :) I don't have access to any of the books on that list that I want to read...
DH was a mathematician, so I know how probability works, but it seems weird that we keep getting these goals that make us read from a list. sigh

I mean it's a teen romance and the love declarations at ages 16-18 always weird me out a little, but it reminds me of Roswell and that's just... I loved that tv show haha. "
I think books are like food. Sometimes you want a 5 star meal, but other times an apple or one piece of chocolate are perfect. And the books/foods that remind us of other times, places, or people we love can be better than the fanciest book/meal. If that makes sense. :)
