The Golden Princess by S.M. Stirling
Finished 8.14.16
3 stars
Paperback, 560 pages (whew!)
For E in ATHLETES four
Also: E (series Emberverse), G, S, O (Orlaith), R (Reiko), H (Heuradys) plus a cast of thousands

Hey, we just lost the gold word! Go new week!
In other news, I managed to finish The Golden Princess, so we can submit ATHLETES number 4. :-)

OK, if no one else wants to read Rapture then eventually someone should steal the last line. It doesn't have to be S -- you can steal any of LETE and just switch things around.

Anyone else volunteer to read Rapture in Death? They are fun, fast, sext reads, although some get a bit gory. In Death books are murder mysteries / romances set in the future.
My cover doesn't have the purple thing on it -- is anyone reading that copy?
And we still need to till in ATH, although we can snag those from the other ATHLETES.

I don't think I started with the first one either. So I'm guessing you'll be fine.

The cloud is purple.
I like the Robb books; I'll gladly reread that one.

I made the category of books I've got but haven't started yet, so that I don't hog up the spreadsheet spots but I also don't forget what I've found. "Planned Books" which aren't banked yet.

Miranda, it seems like you've read a lot! This challenge I've felt like I'm always lagging behind, so maybe it's the hot summer weather and not our actual performance. At least I hope so!

In the meantime, I'll work on Golden Princess, which the library wants back soon.

I had Flash Gold on my TBR list, but when I downloaded it I see that's it's a short story introducing a new series by Lindsay Buroker (a great author). The series is The FLASH GOLD, but I don't know if series name counts as title?
I can get
The Flash Gold Boxed Set, Chronicles I-III which is a single efile but it probably counts as a boxed set, so I don't know if the title works then.
Too bad; I love an excuse to read Buroker. Do you think it would count?

T, A, M, P, B, S

Court works well for c and sweetness is an obvious S if you want to just switch those two.
Then we move the spare m and p into the third olympics, add plethora's latest and we are ready to double spin!
I am on my phone so sorry no punctuation.

Plethora -- even better!

I've got One False Note. I'll read that in the next hour and not be far behind Moonshine, and then we can turn two in and respin.

Can we build OLYMPICS 3 from the banked books? We've got The Forbidden Millionaire for M, My Brother Is a Big Fat Liar for P, and we just need an O.

Anyone object to getting a new word as soon as the last Milon is submitted? We don't seem that close to finishing the remaining OLYMPICS.
(I snuck off to read a graphic novel, which doesn't count -- sorry! But it was really good --

Sheila, I think I tested the wrong Emerald Green book on tiny eye. Luckily no one will notice my mistake as Midnight changed books :-)

Is there a C character? If not, we can move Green to S and move S up to C?

Hey Moonlight, that's my bookclub's pick for October! We were planning to have a pie theme. It was basically an excuse to make the members who are great cooks bake for us :-)
