Banked
There's a thing at the top that controls line wrapping for a box. The icon on it is not intuitive but it is after the color controls and stuff.
Well, we can do my Beth-hogs-all-the-books chain. I am surprised that no one else nibbled at the titles; they didn't look that unusual. Courtney Milan has been self publishing for a while; I put one of her titles up too.
Well, actually.........I built a five book chain using all my own books, hogging the whole bonus. No specials. I just felt a bit odd about it. The Beet thing was just an attempt to share...
But with a week to go, I can easily finish them all.
Or we could use the "Free Book" bonus and put in a banked book, I guess. But the Beet Fields book looks interesting.
I've got nothing with Fields. I refuse to give up!OK, I found The Beet Fields: Memories of a Sixteenth Summer. Give me the Title Twist Bonus so I can warp it in, and then I'm back to reading Summer Garden Murder, which gives me an excuse to read Murder on the Flying Scotsman. Which is what I want to read anyway.
Can I have the title twist bonus?
I'm working on the Title Relay. When I list a bunch of titles, they are in order of preference -- so I've got both "Summer Ball" and "Summer By the Sea" but I'm hoping someone matches on "Ball".
I listed the specials we can use next to the banked books; I'm not sure if we used any yet. For anyone looking to build on the title chain notice #5 "ignore an article". If we haven't built a chain by this afternoon I guess we should dump that bonus.
Game of Cages by Harry Connolly
Paperback: 344 pages
Finished: 9/29/16
For Bonus 13: Tagged as Horror (14 tags, on main page)
Also finished:
Rattle His Bones by Carola Dunn
Kindle: 256 pages
Read for Science character but was too slow. It also works as book #8 in series for Bonus 8
I just finished
which I started because it has scientists as major categories, but then Sheila finished her scientist book, but now I notice that it's #8 in a series so I stuck it in for Bonus 8. Voila!
Didn't we have leftover bonus thingies from previous rounds? You can tell I don't really know what I'm talking about. Sleep well!
Plethora, how close to finishing are you on either The Silent Deal or Fire From Heaven? Because we could use a bonus to swap in a completed book if you want to concentrate on one or the other.
I put all my self-published titles (I mean, *I* didn't publish them) in the spreadsheet and will see if any generate nibbles.
As Ruby Lionsdrake:Trial and Temptation
The Assassin's Salvation
As Buroker:
The Emperor's Edge
Honor's Flight
Relic of Sorrows
Also Harry Connolly self published
The Way Into Chaos
The Way into Magic
The Way into Darkness
"Temptation" and "Chaos" shouldn't be hard to build on. And "Magic" looks easy.
