for another challenge. Which colour can I put it in? I can't seem to pin one colour for it."What about putting it under "lust" in the winner's tower? Does she lust after coach wilder. From the blurb, it sounds like he is forbidden fruit. So i assume she wants him pretty bad. If it works and you put it there, Lust would be complete.
Have a wonderful time, Suzanne! I am jealous. I had to look up Moab, so gorgeous. It is now on my list of places to see.

If someone places a hold, i can't renew it. Unless there are several copies, then it's okay.

MN Lisa - I'm with Suzanne, the Thayne one defo looks bright green enough. Though I haven't popped it into tineye.
Good luck on your exam tomorrow, Vi. I love hearing Dutch. It has a sing-song charm, like Swedish. Whenever I fly, I have to go through Schipol. It's always a pleasure sitting in there listening to the employees talk.

Since covid there are no fines and they're still very generous with their renewal times, pre covid there were only six renewals not 12. I once returned a book that I failed to read and instead of doing what I've been doing since covid, i returned it to the library. When I later went back to read that book it was no longer in the library system. So I've been renewing until I read them. But I need to get through them, i have 37!

Finished my 8th book. I am determined to get through the books I've had out from the library for years. Yes, years! I checked out
originally in 2021. Thanks to tower teams and Eldarwen (mod tower choice) i have finally returned it to the library. It was good, not great. I don't regret having it out for so long. Toon did a great job creating atmosphere and keeping the mystery of whodunit, who's good, who's bad, etc throughout. It was very much a gothic ghost story in the traditional sense. However, it lacked tension in the climax, which in my mind should be the most dramatic, and in a thriller or horror, the most tense part of the story. And if not the most tense, then at least as tense as the rest of the story. This fell flat right at this crucial point. On to the next mod tower reads

Congratulations, Shannon! That's brilliant. You should revel in your accomplishment and defo party as long as you can.Kerri, it's scary spending large sums of money, but houses will do that to you. And though roofs are not that exciting, the joy is in the achievement. You're a homeowner!
Suzanne, I don’t remember claiming any task for Black Wings. It is the only one of my books I left blank. My cover is a grey/purple, so it defo won't work for a black cover. I think that might have been a mix-up. I'm great with wherever you want to put it.
Hello Team Dez. Since a couple of you have dropped by Ashara, I thought I'd swing by and wish you all good luck and happy reading. ☺️

That one was up there for me. I love a good romcom. If you haven't read it yet, I'd also suggest The Virgin Romance Novelist. And The Flatshare, though it's more sweet than funny.
Finished my first TTX read! Pine was a pretty decent gothic thriller. A solid 3.5, but not sure if I'm going to round up or down. I liked it but i don't think it merits the more than Foundation. So probs a three. Do you all have books that you use as a standard for rating? I have three books that I use for rating.Paper Princess is arguably the worst book I've ever read, so books I dislike are rated in relation to this one. I don't think I've ever written a worse review. Foundation is my median standard. Whether a book gets bumped up or down from 3.5 is whether Ithink it's better than the scifi classic. My favourite book, Working for the Devil, is the book from which potential 5s get judged.Anyway, on to the next.

Is that Sally Thorne's The Hating Game? I really enjoyed that one, if it is.
And so it begins! I'm so excited to start reading. I've been really sporradic with it over the last couple of years. My bestie from childhood died last Jan and my grandma died this Jan, so needless to say, my last couple of years have sucked. And when people you love die, it kind of takes the fun out of life. I stopped reading like I used to. I've never had so many unfinished books lying about. I joined this challenge, knowing and relying on how intense it is, to get me back into reading, almost force me. Turns out I don't need to be forced. I am so looking forward to starting. I've been counting down the days. And now it's begun. 😁😁😁😁 I've never been on a winning TT team, and though I'm competitive, I've never really cared. But I hope we smash it this year. Happy reading y'all!!!
