Thank you 😁

Oh, good. If you get the chance, would you be so kind as to combine them, please. I created two audios for The Twins. The good one has a cover photo.

I'm sorry it's all a bit overwhelming. Fostering kittens is not easy. Just be patient and kind to yourself. You're doing a wonderful thing. In regards to TT, some of us are reading more than we claimed, so it may not be such a problem if you are reading less. But if being in the group and not contributing how you wish makes things more stressful, then make the decision that's right for you. There will be other Tower Teams or Wheels. But before you decide maybe think about reading bigger books for more page points. I think a few of those over the period can contribute a fair few points. And you might find that things change in the next few weeks. 💛🧡❤

I really liked Uprooted by her. The MC was charming.

Me too. I know the brain would eventually adapt but I wouldn't have the patience to get to that point.

So overblown. I don't know why these male centred, misogynistic and weirdly written novels are still considered modern classics. Am I being too contemporary in my approach? I tend to believe that a classic is one that can transcend the time and place it was written in and still deliver a great story. If we have to consider what society or literature or some other extenuating circumstance were like at the time of publication to justify the apparent brilliance of the novel, then how can it be any good? I felt this about One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest too. It was an okay book. It may have helped changed the way institutionalised people were treated for the better. Thats an awesome legacy, but it doesn’t mean it's a great book.

Thanks Mary, i think you saved my bacon. I was 13 minutes late.

Okay, this time approve before I start - https://www.goodreads.com/work/shelve...
tragedy, 19 tags, page 4"
Maddy, we could swap books. I read things fall apart, which is tagged as tragedy 74 times, but is down for first in series on the may challenge. We could use the good daughter as the first in the series and put mine under tragedy. Then you can read something else if you want, as opposed to reading for tragedy again.
