If I don't like the characters, I don't like the book. And Holden was basically the quintessential unlikeable character.

I can't remember the name of the series but i read the first oneand was shocked at how, erm "similar" they are."It was the Vampire Academy books by Richelle Mead she was accused of copying. And to be honest, I've read the VA series and the first in Armentrout's and it was incredibly similar. There are a few people that have reviews comparing the two and it's a lot.

I'm sure my number from that list is low since I haven't read many classics and such since being in school but I do have to say the one I'm proud of that I have read was Don Quixote which we read in my Spanish class my freshman year of high school (so 14-15 years old). It took most of the school year to read but I remember it being actually interesting unlike a lot of books we had to read. I need to reread it one day since it's been 20 years but it's so long I haven't wanted to tackle that just yet.

A few years ago I sat down and spent an entire weekend adding every book I owned (physical, ebook, audiobook) to my shelves because I could never remember what I had. It took forever but it's nice not buying so many duplicates. Then for new stuff I just add it as soon as I get it so I don't forget. Now if only I could get myself to actually put the books away immediately.

Thanks! She's been called it roughly 10 times already and I'm only about a quarter of the way into the book so it seems like a regular nickname for her. Should I add it to the spreadsheet as Character first name? There's no nickname option in the drop down menu.
I wanted to check since it's not an option in the working spreadsheet, can we use a character's nickname?I'm reading The Duchess and the Wolf and the FMC's name is Susannah but she is called Zan quite often by her friends.
