The series books are used to build up our weapon. We can use other books for the tasks, but we don't have them yet so we don't know what they will be.

Tonight I'll do some lower number series books that are short to get us started on that, and them plan to start tackling higher numbers next week.

Some for me. I always have 1-4 series numbers I can fill in. Here are some of my higher numbers next up in series that I am ready to tackle:
1 - #5 in series
1 - #6 in series
2 - #7 in series
3 - #8 in series
1 - #9 in series
1 - #15 in series

Can obviously fill gaps as I move past the numbers in these series, too. And will happily do a re-read to get us the lower numbers for some of my favorites.

All done submitting for Labors! We were able to finish off a final labor with Shelby's book stash and we are ready for the RPG game. We are currently ranked 12th, which is amazing since we were at the bottom of the pack when we started this journey. You guys are the best!

Louise, would you like to help us co-captain the final event? It seems like you are on top of things!

Start looking for LOTS of 1,2, 3 in series. I'll make a planning sheet after I get everything submitted. We are finished 3 more bonus labors from the books you all posted.

I think we can start with any number, but we can't go back? So if we start with 2, we can't go back and use a 1.

I could be misunderstanding, though. I should better understand when we see the spreadsheet.

No, we can mix and match, but we have to go in order.

Maybe we can close this one out with completed books?

Ok, so looking at leveling up the weapon (I assume it's just one?)
Weapon

◈ Your hero has a weapon.
◈ The weapon starts with 10 Attack.
◈ The weapon levels up 1 attack each level.
◈ Levels are gained by reading progressively longer "series" of books.
Example:
Level 1: #1 in Series book (11 Attack)
Level 2: #1 and #2 in Series book (12 Attack)
Level 3: #1 and #2 and #3 in Series book (13 Attack)

So we should start planning a chain of series. And then we should try to do as many quests in the first week as possible to gain levels before the tournament?

Emerge the Victor rules

It says books banked before the end of Labors can be exchanged for gold. But I need to read through these rules like 100 more times because I haven't grasped a strategy yet.

Books finished during the break can be considered Emerge the Victor books. Anything after the end of labors. Keep reading!

YES! Found it in The Concrete Blonde. It will be a re-read for me, but I can knock it out this afternoon.

Dang. Ok, let me think about books that might actually have a sketch artist character. Something is rolling around in the back of my mind that should make it easy, but can't grasp it.

If any of you can check your books for sketch artist, that would help a ton. Has to be exact.
