I feel like cards 2 and 3 are most easily done, and they give us more than 1:1 experience for each book. I am either way on keeping cards 1 and 5. I'll let the team decide. The cat books are 1:1 (7 experience, 3 gold) and the repeat quest of summer books is 1:1 ratio as well (5 experience, 1 damage potion). Let's decide before tonight so we can have those cards replaced if we decide to start fresh.
Here are our stats, Louise:RPG HERO
STATS
Experience 22
Level 3
Max HP 30
Health Points 30
Base Attack 16
Attack 16
Effects
Gold 58
We need a #6 in series to complete our level 7 weapon!
I feel so dumb right now. I'm going to blame my work schedule. So we can discard anything, not just monster cards. Since we have had our fill of title relays for a while, I discarded the ladder quest. Is there anything else you guys want to discard? Maybe the cat one? It's 7 experience for 7 books, and the cat books I would be reading could all go towards a weapon upgrade since they are series titles.
I will read a couple of the lower Cat Who books today before I leave for work. They are short and quick. I feel like we can easily read the low numbers for series reads but the higher numbers are tougher.
Oh nice. Thanks, Kelly! So if it doesn't specifically say, can we take those tasks like we did for the picture squares in BINGO? Like if we can justify it we can use it?
We took out the Yeti and we have plenty of tasks to focus on now. Even if you are confused about the RPG part of the game, here is how you can help:1) Continue to read series books, but plan it out so we have the higher numbers needed to level our weapon. Please plot on the sheet so we don't miss a number.
2) Read for tasks! The tasks are very important to leveling up our hero. We need to read quickly for these to help us gain more strength. Again, please claim on the sheet and post in the thread so we don't duplicate work.

Hope that helps! I know this is new to most of you (and me) but I also know from the past few months that you all are great at reading for tasks.
I have about 60 pages left of my hot setting book. That should get us a new card. Back in an hour or so.
Anything you finished on or after 10/8 will count for tasks, and anything before will count for gold. I have traded in most of our old books for gold but it takes a little time so I am working my way through our sheets.
Sally, will any of your three books fit these? I thought maybe Joy for Beginners would work for the flowers since that vase on the window sill has flowers in it.
We need series books, and these are the current tasks (these don't have to be series reads):I am trying my best to keep the planning sheet up to date as people finish books and I place them for us.

Read a book with flowers on their cover to make a bouquet
Read a book that takes place in summer
Read a book with a beach picture on the cover or book with beach related object on cover.
Read something hot (steamy book topic, set in a hot climate or even a bestseller)
Read a book that has been made into a summer movie or it would be great summer movie.
Read a book with an animal on the cover.
Read a book with an animal or child plays is a major part of the plot of the story.
Finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time this morning for •Read a book with an animal in the title.
Love this book so much! Louise, let me know if you don't find a book with an animal on the cover and I can cover that one this afternoon. I'll start my book with an animal or child plays is a major part of the plot of the story right after my run.
I discarded both of the high level monster cards in hopes that we get it replaced with something lower level. And as soon as we finish a #4 and #5, we can level up our weapon another time!
Posted at the same time! Ok, we'll wait. I can finish a cat book tonight.
