Sorry, everyone! I was stuck in meetings all day. Trying to get caught up on the thread. Yes, I have Hold Still in ePub. And I can easily do Still Life with Murder.I also have several books that start with murder, or could do leg 1 of the first heat with dead.
Stealthilicious Stacie wrote: "Nina Lacour. can you get that one Michelle? hold still. sorry I'm a little tipsy"Yes, I have it, Stacie!
Countdown clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/...We have about 30 hours remaining. I will be finishing my two remaining books before the deadline.
Still need:
1 non-fiction (NancyHelen?)
1 young adult (Stacie?)
1 book rated 3.51-3.99 (Delitealex?)
1 book with 6 or more words in the title (Michelle?)
Double-check that all other books being read have at least 10 MP genre shelves so we can avoid scrambling to fit it into the miss squares. We can only place two books per miss and we have used most of the easier ones!
Going to update our spreadsheet and move things around before heading to work. Greta will be taking point on Olympics. She has a great plan in place for us, so stop by and see the rules today. It's complicated, and we will need to read fairly specific things to get us going, but we can do it. This is where our fantastic team work will help us. Looking forward to this next round.
Greta, I will be in meetings all day tomorrow and won't be able to sneak on, but I will check in as soon as I get home!
I found one that I can knock out tonight that will only give us one point, but will pair with Louise's book so we should be good to go for J-8 - read a book where title has 6 or more words (all words count). It will also count for mystery or young adult if we need to use it elsewhere, but it's a shorty so I'm only knocking it out to finish that task.
Still need to complete our tasks!1 Non-fiction
1 Young Adult (Stacie!)
1 book rated between 3.51-3.99 (Hoping to use Delitealex's book here!)
I also need one book to match up with one of Louise's books that doesn't have enough shelves to be a hit goal. If anyone is reading a book with six words (or more!) in the title, let me know! Otherwise I will crank one out tonight / tomorrow.
Update from this morning's books:Sally's most recent book didn't have 10 shelves of anything, but it worked for I-10: rated 3.51-3.99 on GR. If anyone has a book not shelved 10 times but fits this, I can slot it there for the points.
Otherwise I will use Delitealex's most recent (Brilliance) there instead of the bonus for Sci Fi. But the bonus for sci fi will be worth more, so if someone has a book that fits the I-10 square that would be awesome. Or I'll knock something out quickly tonight. Mostly done with NOS4A2 so that can go as bonus for mystery.
Keep an eye on the timer! Just over two days remaining:

Lisa, glad to hear you are safe! Scary and sad.I finished my non-fiction book last night. It's one I have had on my list since I started GRs so I was glad to read it. It isn't a long one but it gives me time to finish NOS4A2 and possibly a mystery or two.
If you read another YA it will count as bonus points on the other YA square, so read whatever you want!
With Stacie's latest book that we can use for mystery (shelved 13 times) that puts us almost done with the hits. We need the 2 non-fictions that NancyHelen and I are currently reading, and one more YA. Great job, team. Keep it up!!
Here's what we still need: (UPDATED)2 non-fiction (NancyHelen & Michelle, but others can read for bonus, too!)
1 mystery (to pair with Audrey Jane's book we used)
1 young adult (to pair with Berit's book we used)
All others will fit somewhere, so keep reading until the deadline, and Greta, Stacie and I will figure out where to put it for points.
I'll figure it out, Shelby! No worries.I'll update what is left after I fit Shelby's book into our sheet.
I placed Stacie's and Sally's books to finish off one of our mystery hits.We still need 2 non-fiction (but I volunteer for one), 2 mystery, 2 romance, and 2 young adult to finish off the hits. Everything else can be for bonus. We've got this!
I have 2 more days of vacation so I should be able to help us finish strong, but back to my regular 3-5 books a week once Olympics begin, sadly. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next game!
