I’m in for Team Draco!

Sadly, it wasn't The Force Awakens. That was my team and it was full of awesome fun people, but we did not win.

Devann, I had never really thought about this. Maybe the magical world has some kind of mystical balance, like the force, and it sends only the right amount of letters to balance the houses? Or each person has a little of every house in them, and the hat figures out the right mix?

Or I'm over thinking it and I need more coffee this morning!

Me too! I think he really grows into his own over the course of the series. He's one of my favorite characters.

I've been playing, Joanne. It's ok, but you have to wait forever for your energy to reload, so it's kind of a slow go.

We don't have the details for the second part of the Care of Magical Creatures class yet. I would think we will have a little latitude there. If we have questions once the class info posts, we can take it to the mods to double check.

Good morning! We should have clarification on classes today, and I am waiting on a ruling for people in a non-fiction book (characters or not?)

But I do have this to pass along for Care of Magical Creatures:
The first part of Care of Magical Creatures will be cover hunt

The main goal is to "build" your own creature. So imagine you have a wolf on the cover. You can say it has wolf teeth, wolf tail, wolf body, etc.
Or if you want to use the whole wolf, you can say it's a wolf, and then add 4 more characteristics, like it also has serpent scales, or eagle wings, butterfly antennae... etc.

I really don't know what to think of this book. I want to watch the series, but I'm a little taken aback by the awfulness of his family life.

I hated the characters, but the writing is good. Maybe 2 stars?
