@Deanna and @Melanie Joy's end of book questions (view spoiler)[ omg, yes! I felt quite conflicted about this. Morrigan knew she was cursed and somewhere in the middle of the story she wonders if her knack/talent is actually that she is cursed and/or evil, so she was on the right track I guess. Why couldn't he have just guided her in understanding her talent in a more positive light instead of hiding it. I feel that it teaches kids to hide something that they think is 'bad' instead of learning to channel it into positive things. Maybe I am overthinking this though, I see kids with mental health conditions all day and they often think they are 'bad' instead of that their brains just work differently from other kids or that their brain has started working differently because of circumstances. so yeah, maybe overthinking this one a bit... I am listening to the audio and reading the hardcopy (because I just can't get enough). I loved the audio version, it had some lovely sound effects and the narrator was just brilliant. I hope you get your hands on it. Welcome by the way!!

I loved the book too.

I also agree with your spoilers (view spoiler)[ no idea what the wunder is either. I am almosts finished with the book and I feel an epic battle coming up with the Wundersmith or maybe she is a Wundersmith or something. Also still not clear on what a Wundersmith is... so many questions, so much time to wait for answers!! (hide spoiler)]
