He did say last week that I deserve to buy a book once in a while as I work so hard...I think that basically gave me a free pass :) so I bought 2 books hahahaha

I should say that books in Australia are so expensive. I wish I had known about the 2nd hand bookstores in the US when I was there last year. I should have brought a second (massive!!) suitcase to carry books with me. Alas, it didn't work out that way and now I just have to sneak them in so once in a while (read at least once every 2 weeks) LOL

well the wait for this book was just too long at the library, so I've bought a copy. I look forward to starting it this week!

The wait at all the libraries is until 2019 so I decided to sneakily buy a copy. I literally ran upstairs to hide it from my husband who will just go "but you have so many books right there in the bookcase you haven't read!" LOL.
I look forward to reading this book with you all. I have it safely stashed away :)

I started late too. The book didn't become available at the library for a while. It's all fine. There are several people. I don't think 2 people can claim the BR points though. I've added a few comments now. I didn't like the book as much as everyone else

The end (view spoiler)[ I need to really think about how I feel about this book as well like Joanne. I was later to start compared to everyone else and saw how much everyone liked it. I don't know what I thought of it. I think I didn't rate it, because it isn't clear cut for me. The flashback chapters didn't make sense until the end. Like I said earlier, I think I missed quite a bit of the book as I listened to it as an audiobook. I might re-read this as an actual book in a few months when this has settled down a bit (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I really struggled with David. I am a psychologist and seeing a psychiatrist take such charge of his wife's health care really bothered me. I think mostly because I think it is probably what happens a lot with people like David who need to be in 100% control. What a creep (hide spoiler)]

I really struggled with the back and forth in time. I listened to the audiobook and often missed bits because it took me a while to figure out who was who and at what time we were.

I'm in it and I am nervous! These balls go fast!! I sucked at dodgeball in high school and I feel like I'm playing dodgeball again with really hard balls and the boys in class are aiming all their balls at me!

it is nuts! We're now waiting for the dirty snakes to finish the quaffle book as there's no point in us completing a chain now.
