Crazy, Rich Asians will work for task#13-characters get on a plane.

Ha! Well, that's true!

I am going to read this book...it is more than 500 pgs and has green trees on the cover...would trees be considered an 'item'?
[bookcover:Texas Heat|189160..."
Hmmm...to me trees are "items". You can buy one at a nursery, so it could be an item on your receipt. Not sure if the mods will be as broad thinking. :)
Great that our BOM works for so many of the tasks! Hopefully we can fill in some of the tasks needed later with that book.

"Read a book with a green or gold item or writing on the cover which is set in summer" will work for

Awesome! Thanks for the research, Vicky, and happy it works!

" Read a book with a body of water on the cover (e.g. pool, lake, ocean etc.)" by reading,

I can read the 40 pointer for:
" Read a book with a belt on the cover."

I can read the 50 pointer for:
"Read a book with “carrot” in the text."

"Read a book with a green or gold item or writing on the cover which is set in summer" will work for

If not it can work for the 50 pointer:
" Read a book with a star on the cover." There are lots of little stars in the night sky on the cover.

Now just got my long book to go!"
Well-written review, Jess! I don't think I would care for the book either from what you wrote. Especially when the English is not correct. It's not much fun when you have to struggle to finish a book. :(

Depending on your book club. As long as they enjoy beautiful writing I’d say yes. It is possibly too wordy for people who want the story to be quickly told. It would definitely make for good discussion!

My favorite book of 2018!!

The Frankenstein book is still waitlisted at my library, so I doubt I'll get to read it for November.

For PINETREE I will read:
1. Everyone Brave is Forgiven
Letters: P (character FN), E (title) N (character LN), T (character FN), R (character LN)
2. Love and Ruin
Letters: P (author's FN), E (character FN), T (character FN)
They're both fairly lengthy books (with small print), so it may be all I can read this week. :)
