35559 Lisa, I saw in the read thread that you read and enjoyed The Diabolical Miss Hyde (Electric Empire, #1) by Viola Carr . I have that book on my tbr too, looking forward to read it now. Looks promising and euhm love the covers :)

On a different note; this week I've watched the trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne & Colin Farell, and I'm excited for its release in November, it's looking really good.

Concerning the recent release of the last book in the HP series (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One and Two). Did anyone from the team read it? Any thoughts?

35559 Welcome back NancyHelen!

We are doing really good team, moving slowly but steadily up the rankings.
Like the rest of the team, I don't mind staying with Athena. It would be great to get Terror Birds again for the bonus but I think that the chances are slim.

I will have my book finished this weekend. Really enjoying the Kate Shugak series.

35559 As soon as I finish my current read, I will start my book.

Congratulations on the new job Sophie! Hope your first day went well.

I agree, house hunting is fun but the actual moving not that much. I had cardboard boxes still lying around in a corner after two years of moving. Even packing and unpacking after going on vacation is a nightmare
35559 Traitor's Blade (Greatcoats, #1) by Sebastien de Castell

Traitor's Blade by Sebastien de Castell

Falcio is the first Cantor of the Greatcoats. Trained in the fighting arts and the laws of Tristia, the Greatcoats are travelling Magisters upholding King’s Law. They are heroes. Or at least they were, until they stood aside while the Dukes took the kingdom, and impaled their King’s head on a spike.

Now Tristia is on the verge of collapse and the barbarians are sniffing at the borders. The Dukes bring chaos to the land, while the Greatcoats are scattered far and wide, reviled as traitors, their legendary coats in tatters. All they have left are the promises they made to King Paelis, to carry out one final mission.

But if they have any hope of fulfilling the King’s dream, the divided Greatcoats must reunite, or they will also have to stand aside as they watch their world burn…

35559 Quick checking in.

Glad to have you on our team, Sam! We are currently doing the Wheelathon challenge and spelling the word Athena. During this particular challenge you can basically read anything you want (unless the captains request we find and read something specific). The spell it out challenge is pretty easygoing, most of the time your books will fit. And while you are reading you can look out for the tasks: green in text, like you did below :) Doing great!

Finished my book but will update everything tomorrow since I just returned from my holidays in Wales and I'm exhausted. Good night Mammoths!

35559 Thank you ladies, I will memorize all your great one liners :-)

Happy belated birthday, Shelby!

I'm off to bed now, I'm experimenting with audio books and try to listen to one before sleeping

35559 Hi Team! So this week my reader's feelings got hurt. I don't know about you fellow Mammoths, but I take a book or my ereader with me practically every where I go. I try to squeeze as many reading time during the day as I can. In the morning a certain lady saw me reading again and said I was addicted and enslaved to my book. I tell this here to comfort me that reading in public is not illegal ;-)
Also a lot of people tell me that they find reading tiresome and that they don't have the time to read unlike me *sigh*

35559 Good evening Mammoths! I've finished and posted a book but honestly didn't focus on the colours and since I've the paperback, it's not easy to do a quick search. I will check with my next book. I will re-read Sweep in Peace by Ilona Andrews (last read in December). Doing great team :-)

35559 Question about the Wheelathon; I know there was a debate at the previous wheels regarding this but don't remember the outcome. When we are reading a non-fiction book can we for example use historical characters for the spell-it-out?
