This was a fun read for me. Quick and sweet, a bit brutal at times... it reminded me of a live action version of Canadian reality game show parody cartoon Total Drama Island (really fun show btw).

Remember when you were in grade school and there was always a little boy that would pull your hair, hit you and push you on the playground? Remember what your mom always said about him? That he only hit you and pushed you and pulled your hair because he liked you? Well that was Dean and Abby. I was very happy to see them get over their differences and become such a great team, and I'm also glad they became such an awesome couple.

I really do think that this may be a series that I would really enjoy reading more of.

Dark, sexy, absolutely riveting... don't even BEGIN to describe this book. The amount of twists and turns in this story... Downright labyrinthine. I can't remember ever reading another book that made my jaw drop in shock as much as this one did. It seemed like there was a new twist... a new puzzle piece added with every chapter.

I'm super curious to find out what happens next between Ryder and Syn. There are so many questions that demand answers. The two main ones being what the hell Syn and Ryder are and who is after her. I will most definitely be getting the remainder of this series.

Every time I read a shifter story, I find myself wishing that the world of shifters was real. This story was no different. Jampacked with tons of action, and lots of budding romance, this book pretty much hit all the spots. I loved the fact that despite Mia being a larger girl, Ty still craved her. Being a big girl myself, it warmed the cockles of my heart to know that some guys really do prefer to be with a curvier female. Plus all the fighting scenes were so well described, it read like I was actually there watching it unfold.

I will most definitely be reading the remaining books in this series, as well as the others written by Celia Kyle.

Oh nooo!!! :'( That's disappointing... I was really looking forward to them... but I guess I have no choice but to settle for the Call of Crows. If they're as good as Hunting Season, I may be able to forgive her lol
