Sorry for the late response LaurLa. I agree with Sandra. I've such a large TBR that I add to almost daily (both on here and a spreadsheet I keep in the cloud), I try not to re-read books if I can help it. Unless it was exceptionally good. My initial pick was good, but not good enough for a re-read in my opinion.
Well as it turns out, I'd already read my initial shelf pick a few years ago (I thought I had... it looked so familiar). The search for this week's read is still in progress.

Super sweet, laugh out loud funny, nice and hot without being overwhelming... this book is all that AND the bag of chips (lol haven't heard that in a while).
Annie had me rooting for her through the entire book. I loved her undercover snark, and her social awkwardness was something I could relate to to a degree. The awesome thing is that not once did I have to yell at her for the choices she made (which is rare... and I know I'm not the only one who yells at/ talks to the characters in a good book... it's ok to admit you do ;) ) Dirty minded, potty mouthed, rugby playing Irish Adonis (complete with accent) aka Ronan made me salivate and blush at the same dog-gone time. I wonder where I can get one like him who likes their women plump... (hmm... haven't seen them in Walmart... must be out of stock... maybe I'll try Costco... hehehe)
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. I even lost sleep, it was so good. I'm hoping Lucy gets a book too. She's so vibrant. I'd love to see what she gets into in the Big Apple.
A well earned 5 stars.

This book is another slam dunk. It's full of laugh out loud moments, sweet romance, lots of heat, and has the added bonus of being a historical (win!). It was so easy to get drawn back into the food and laughter filled world of the Bradford's... with their insatiable love of food that is second only to their love of their family. That is until said family gets in between them and food. All bets are off then (lol)
There's never a dull moment with the Bradford's and I love reading about their various antics and how they meet their matches in the women they love. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next in the series which looks very promising from the preview.
