Look. This book... Lord!!! Smh... I honestly don't know what to say. It was so freaking GOOD!!! I laughed so much at everyone's antics, and ached so much for Yager, and wished the Crows and Ravens were friends of mine... Le sigh...
Shelly Laurenston. I'm calling you out!!! You can't give us such an awesome story and not give us Tye and Janelle's, and Mike and Arri's (at least). I NEED THEM IN MY LIFE!!! I really need to see Arri step into her own, and Mike get what's coming to him >:) (Sorry for the outburst, but I had to get that off my chest. It's pretty safe to say you've gained another fan.)
So... I think that about covers it (lol). Highly recommend getting lost in this book. It was totally worth losing sleep.

My shelf 18 pick: No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It

This steampunk vampire romance definitely hit all the spots. It's filled with action, romance, and lots of steamy bits (Get it?). I do believe that this could have been a bit more steampunkier (is that even a word?), but the few mechanical hybrids depicted were quite interesting.
You know how sometimes being the reader you can see both sides of the story, and you already know that one of the characters was actually a good person even though their reputation shows different? Well, this was one of those stories. Even though I really loved her spunk, Honoria was one of those characters that I really wanted to just throttle at times throughout the story. I understood her reasoning behind not trusting Blade, but knowing that he was actually a good guy, and that she was just basing her judgments off of what she heard from other people, it made me want to just slap her a little bit and explain to her how he really was. But, I'm glad that she realized her mistake before it was too late. The two of them make such an awesome couple.
I like the way that in this take on the vampire genre, the vampire is the end result of a disease that you can be inoculated against, versus just being the result of being bitten by another vampire. I like that the transition to vampire is very slow... depending on the situation.
I'm really hoping the next book in the series is about Will and Honoria's sister. That wolf really needs somebody to give him a good hug (lol). Anywho, this was an excellent story.

Equal parts sweet and steamy with a nice sprinkling of danger, this book was definitely satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Hallie explore her sexuality with Vicious as her ever so delicious teacher. It was great to see how sweet, patient and considerate he turned out to be despite his name.
This was very well written, and the characters were nicely fleshed out. I'd really like to see the so-called committed bachelor Terror get swept off his feet by a woman. I'd love to watch him eat his words (lol).
Overall, a well deserved 5 stars.

This story in a word: AMAZEBALLS!!
I was sooo pissed with Cat at the end of the first book, though I understood why she did what she did, but this one TOTALLY made up for it (I forgive you Cat). I can't tell you what happened, but just know that certain parts had me smiling as broadly as the Cheshire Cat. :)
And you think you know about daddy issues??? Smh... she's got them up the wazoo!! Good thing she has a heck of a way to deal with them... As River Song would say, "Spoilers."
Another wonderfully well written book. I loved it from start to finish, and will for sure be getting my Bones hungry hands on the next one.
