I'm reading for the Strong Heroine shelf.

On a side note, if this game lasts more than 15 weeks (surely it won't, but just in case) I will be going to Ireland and the UK for a 2 1/2 week vacation. I should have internet access enough to post reviews and such, but I may need someone else to cover for me as captain. That would mean this ends up being a really long game though. But, since more shelves are needed for a win, I'm not sure how long this round will last. So I'm covering my bases in advance. :-)

You know what I had to do to keep up with my series, Danielle? I created a "next up in series" shelf and went through my entire bookshelf and every single series I had started, I tagged the next book to read. And when I read those books, if I'm continuing with the series, I tag the next one. I am determined not to start any new series (unless that shelf is called) AND I try my hardest to pick my bingo books from those books. I usually am able to. It's helped a lot and is actually working, slowly but surely. LOL

Shelf: Creature Feature

I'm waffling between 3 and 4 stars. Because OMG Zane is hot stuff. And it was an interesting plot/"mystery". But overall, it was ok, but nothing to write home about. Jana was an okay heroine, kinda boring though. TBH, I think I'm just burning out reading all these books and finding them a chore to read which makes them harder to enjoy. It's normally a book I would love but it's just ok.

I really enjoy this series. Not sure why I have such a hard time getting started with each book. Had some surprises that should make things interesting in future books. There was a lot of things happening and as usual you have no idea if how Harry is going to pull through, but he always does. New tentative allies and some new characters (and a puppy!). I really need to read these books closer together because I have no idea what's going on half the time, since I go so long between books. This was one of the better books of the series so far I think.

I've finished my man's world book and I'm gonna jump right into creature feature and try to knock it out real fast. For my new to you author I'm probably gonna read .

I'll be reading for the Man's World shelf.

It's been ages (at least a couple of years) since I read the first two books in this series, but it was relatively easy to get caught up. Great and funny characters. Seriously, big laughs from the completely over-the-top ridiculous characters, especially Satan and Theresa. Unique storyline. Loved Nick and Becca together. Overall, a pretty darn good read.

I'll read for my Creature Feature book.

You ever have a book that you don't want to end because it is just that good? This was that book for me. I almost always love both the hero and heroine in Kresley Cole's IAD books, and Lucia and Garreth were no exception. It was set partially in the Amazonian rainforest, which was a new and interesting setting for me.
My only issue with the IAD books (including this one) is the massively overlapping timelines between books. Since I am not reading all the books one right after another, I end up slightly confused by what's going on in the overall story that spans the series. 1/2 star off for that. If there was a timeline that accompanied the book or something, I'd probably give that 1/2 star back. Heck, if there was a timeline on her website, I'd probably give it back, but I can't find one through my (admittedly half-hearted) googling.

I've finished my six-pack attack book. I'll try to get write a review tonight when I get home from work.

Super easy read. Enjoyable characters. Great heroine. She's a cop so she can hold her own, but I never got the TSTL vibe from her, which could easily have happened given the circumstances her character was written into. Jack was a super sexy, drool-worthy hero.
The mystery of the disappearing college girls had a very interesting wrap-up (view spoiler)[but then, I'm a sucker for anything even remotely related to Greek mythology, however dubious the connection, lol (hide spoiler)].
This is another series I will continue to read.

I think this might be my favorite book of this series, simply because I really like both the hero and the heroine (the heroines in this series tend to be on the bitchy side, and Rhona was tough, but in general, not bitchy). It is laugh out loud funny. I thought Vigholf was pretty adorable with his crush and poor Rhona was just so clueless. I like that she was not mean or resistant to falling for him once he finally spelled out his feelings for her. Some interesting new characters were added (the Rebel King and his sister). I'm definitely continuing with this series.
