I've finished River Marked and will get around to a review and stamp request later today.

I've got everything to here. I'm gonna finish up River Marked tonight and get it reviewed before the shelf announcement this weekend.

I thought about the latest Sookie Stackhouse book, but I'll hold on to that one for now.
I've read that Meg Cabot series Deborah and had much the same opinion as you (some good, some meh, but good enough to read the next).

Truth be told, these books are cheesy (and getting cheesier), but I love them! This book wasn't any different, although it dragged a bit with the vampire politics and (IMO) the fairies are a bit boring. There was a completely random scene with Alcide that didn't seem to serve any purpose except to remind us that he exists. Every book I read makes me more sure that Sookie is going to end up with Sam (or if she doesn't, she should). Of course that doesn't mean I don't think Eric is the hottest thing since, well, since this record breaking summer in Arkansas. I have the next book in the series, and I'm resisting the urge to grab it right NOW and read it in one sitting.

It was a good end to the series. A bit anti-climatic, possibly because I read so much speculation about how it was going to end and most people seemed to get it right. So I figure out how it was all gonna go and sure enough, it did. But still, I like this series a lot. I was saddened by (view spoiler) . Honestly, I was liking the secondary characters more in this book. I want to see more about the vamps and Carter, and even Jerome. I think they'd be interesting to follow around and learn their stories.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Booorrrrriiiiinnnngggg! I didn't find any character all that engaging. It felt long, although I don't think it actually was. There was a whole side plot that had literally no point to it (her boss was cursed by (view spoiler) ). It sure seemed like the evil baddie was easily defeated in the end, but maybe I'm just being super critical. Not continuing the series (see my 2nd sentence of this review for why).
Now to finish Succubus Revealed and to pick from several books (

Anyway, I've got everyone's book choices for the demons shelf. I'm reading

I may still post from my phone, but it's too hard (if not impossible, I've never tried) to update posts on my phone.

Great book. I don't have any objections to anything, but I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't quite suck me in the way I want 5 star books to do so. It's taken me a few books, but I've warmed up to Ethan and have a little book-crush now. LOL I haven't read the previous book in the series for quite a while so there was some confusion because I can't recall events from that book, but there didn't seem to be anything too complicated. I kinda wish that the Chicagoland Vamp books weren't written in 1st person, because I want to see others perspectives (specifically Mallory and Catcher). Looking forward to the next in the series.

AH, I am really enjoying Chicagoland Vamps, so I hope I'm in the love it group after book 4.
I'm getting annoyed. I may have to switch my book. I can't find Twice Bitten anywhere, although I am positive I have it. I'll look for it some more and if I can't find it by tonight, I will pick something else out. I guess it's time to organize the books. :-P
