I was captain of my team last round so I know how to do it if no one else wants to. Anyone else is welcome to do it if they want to. LOL

Pass the margaritas please. And the guacamole. Nom nom nom. Slosh slosh slosh.

Three teams are in a race so it's definitely over this week. Had fun playing with y'all and I hope I wasn't too terrible a captain. LOL

I loved it. I love Bones (he's is definitely at the top of my favorite heroes list). I love the interaction between Bones and Cat's mother. They are hilarious! There was a torture scene that some might find a bit too much, but I'm so jaded nowadays that it didn't bother me. Mencheres is an interesting character that I want to get to know more about. I am enjoying this series so much and definitely will read the next one.
ETA: Oh, and I forgot to mention (view spoiler) !["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I was gonna try to get my 2011 book read real fast before tomorrow, but since it offers no strategic advantage to us (at least this week), I'm not going to rush myself or worry about it. I have some continuing education I need to do to renew my license for work next month, so I'm gonna focus on that today. Blech. BOOOORRRRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!

It started out great. I was pleasantly surprised, since I'm pretty sure it's a self-published book (or at least my copy was, since I got it on smashwords). These kinds of books tend to suck badly. Anyway, great start, I'm enjoying it, even if the heroine seemed kind of young for her age (I was picturing a high schooler, but she was 19). Of course the hero was stunningly beautiful and perfect looking and she was (according to herself) plain. Whatever, I can overlook that little bit of eye-rolling. Things are moving along, 4 stars so far. Suddenly about halfway through, the heroine throws a completely ridiculous little whiny baby snit (swear to you it was the stupidest, most immature behavior I've come across in a while, and I've read New Moon). Ok, so I get past that (and she does), but it's dropped a star. I'm hoping it improves, but then it becomes a Twilight copycat, more than any other book I've read. Except there was sex. LOL If I wrote this review sooner after I finished the book, I'd be able to give extensive examples, but I've repressed the memories now. I enjoyed the Twilight books despite the stupid, but I don't enjoy reading copycats, so it dropped another star. And then gained a 1/2 star back for having a somewhat unique ending. I may pick up the next book in the series, if I ever come across it cheap.

Off to update everything and I'll write my angels review at some point soon, tonight or tomorrow morning hopefully.

Another great addition to the Mercy Thompson series. It got a little bogged down in the middle with all the talk about Native American legends/myths. Probably interesting to some people, not to me though. It picked back up at the end though, so it's all good. It has been over a year since I read the previous book in the series, so I was a bit confused at first because I couldn't remember much about the previous events. As I went on however I remember enough. Loved the (view spoiler) .["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
