His eyes glanced down to the unconscious form, for the noticing Driden fully. He licked his lips, "Another one."

The insane scientist only laughed again suddenly sending a force at her that sent her into the wall with a crack and killing the wind and fire she had summoned. He walked up to her leaning in again with a stench. "You have no idea who your dealing with do you, little test subject. I'm the 100 year old wielder of the emerald stone." he cackled again. "Back when I fought the myst I was so weak and never gained any knowledge!" his eyes went an eerie yellow, "Now I get everything I want."

He just hopped to the side cackling again. "What a fierce little mouse you are. What an interesting test you'll make!"

There was a small stream of blood flowing from Driden's hair and his breathing was shallow. Suddenly the crazy man was in front of her leaning in, "He not going to wake up. No never never, ever ever." then he gave a wide toothy upwards grin, "And neither will you."

That's when something behind them went BANG, followed by a loud cackle. An insane looking man with long stringy hair and ragged clothing, with chains still hanging from his wrists appeared, "Ah, they were right. There's more here!" he cackled again and started to do a little dance back and forth, "More tests more, and more and more and MORE!" That's when Derey noticed what was behind him. Driden, who had been the closest and who had taken the full force brunt of the explosion was half buried, unconscious, in the hill of rubble behind the crazy man.

Belenos panted as he reentered the cave in which he'd left Laurel. This is getting old quickly he said to himself. How much longer would he be able to keep the secret before
they found out. He glanced at the figures in the cave. Long enough, it had to be.

Driden got a little lost at what to say, "Wonder where Ethan went." he muttered. He smiled at Derey, "Let's go to the valley."

Laurel glanced at Belenos, "Do you think it's safe to keep her like this? We both know she could blast our heads off if she wakes up, and I wont have a second chance to use this." she pointed to the weapon at her hip. It was a long chain, with a heavy ball of sorts at one end and a sharp looking blade at the other end, "The meteor hammer is fast but it takes time to build up that speed. You know that."
Belenos chuckled like he always did, "You worry too much Laurel. Naomi's not going to wake up any time soon, you see, before she was completely out, while she was distracted by you, I used my power, my weapon." he held up a sharp dart of sorts. "My power is to manipulate the human mind, body and soul. Right now I have control of her until she is aware enough to fight and she won't become aware enough until I let her."
((Here's a pic of Laurel's weapon.

((And Belenos'

He grinned, "Did you get sick from the fall?"

Driden wooped as they fell and landed on the slope that had been hidden from their view. In a matter of seconds they had reached the bottom far below. "Just a small walk to the valley from here." he said. He saw the look on her face, "Something wrong, Hochini?"

She moved father into the ruins watching the walls, seemingly being caught up in the carvings. "I know your there, Belenos." she said.
Belenos stepped out smiling. "Naomi, long time no see."
"Ready to die then, I see." she said and charged him. Before she could reach him something hit her skull from behind. Her eyes went wide and she fell. A small figure came up as she started to loose consciousness, "Pearl holder." Naomi hissed.
As she lost complete consciousness she heard Belenos say, "I knew you'd fall for that. Such a temper." he clucked.

He took hold of her and then grinned, "Just a your ordered Hochini, fast and easy." Then he jumped out of the cave and off the cliff.

He smiled and said, "Be careful to stow your cargo safely. I don't want to end up being sliced in half."

He put a hand out to her, "You'll need to hold onto me for us to do this."

He turned to her continuing to smile, "I've done it a thousand times if that's what you mean."

He grinned, "we can go down the fast and easy way."

In the deep ruins of the ancient grounds Naomi knelt, examining the cracks running deep into the earth, "Belenos." she mouthed. "Are you trying to reawaken the Myst." she gritted her teeth and let out a resigned sigh, "I should have taken care of you sooner." She pounded her fist into the earth, "No mercy. I have to forget. Forget those times and remember that he is my enemy." she stood casting out her staff. "It is time to settle this, once and for all."

He moved back to the path.

He grinned, "Naomi's gonna be surprised. How about we go to the valley and start practicing?"

He whistled. "Wouldn't want to catch someone on a bad day with those in tow."
