Becky: I see what you mean about Felix's personality. I agree. He seems like a wet blanket. (view spoiler)

Elora: (view spoiler)

Personally tho, I'm really not a fan of Adele from what I've read in Wolf by Wolf, and I could do without her in the second book.

32418 ooo...I forgot Unwind. Good choice, Brigid!

32418 I just finished...
Their Fractured Light (Starbound, #3) by Amie Kaufman

I really loved it! New favorite trilogy ^_^ All the characters are swoon worthy. Love how it all came together and how it ended.

Listened to this one on audio and wasn't all that impressed with the voice of Gideon, but then when you get to know him, the voice grows on you!

HEIDI: Definitely a must read. ^_^

32418 I'm not much of a romance reader so these books are literally books that made me hold my breathe on action scenes. That's how well written and action packed it is!

My list are the first of trilogies/series:

Gregor the Overlander (Underland Chronicles, #1) by Suzanne Collins
I Hunt Killers (Jasper Dent, #1) by Barry Lyga
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling
Angels & Demons (Robert Langdon, #1) by Dan Brown Yes, I really love these books!
The Monstrumologist (The Monstrumologist, #1) by Rick Yancey
Mar 30, 2016 06:22PM

32418 Take this anyway you want. It could be any genre that's so good that it just takes your breathe away. It could be for any reason like the action is so good that you literally held your breath until the battle is over or the book was so swoon worthy that you're having heart palpitations.

Like I said use your imagination!

32418 HEIDI: No problem!

Since I'm already on a roll of finishing some of my series, I decided to start...
Their Fractured Light (Starbound, #3) by Amie Kaufman

I actually borrowed this on audio, and I'm liking it a lot. I'm also really liking the story so far. Its a lot longer than the other two books tho. It has 12 parts of audio!

32418 I finally got the courage to pick up...
Blood of My Blood (Jasper Dent, #3) by Barry Lyga

all of Ashley's gushing finally made me want to pick it up. I just can't handle the suspense. It's good tho, but I knew it would be!
Mar 25, 2016 07:30PM

32418 Nice topic, Ashley!

Harry Potter is definitely on my list! Also, any cozy mystery book is a good choice too. I think, anything that's a quick read will be good. Something that can be started and potentially be finished on the same day.
Mar 25, 2016 07:25PM

32418 Mercy Thompson series is good. I got to the third book, but it just wasn't for me.

Heidi, the audio is pretty good ^_^
Mar 24, 2016 06:34PM

32418 it was a fun quick read. Not to heavy considering the situation. I also just finished watching the movie and enjoyed that too. They actually stuck to the story line pretty well. They took some parts out, but they didn't really alter too many things, which is great.

Seriously I'm really not sure what about in this book that made me keep reading. I think its just the anticipation of what will happen next.

Just finished...
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

I'm actually a bit disappointed in this book. I really didn't have any expectation, but I just didn't enjoy it that much. It was a bit depressing for my liking.
