That is the point I was trying to make. Maybe it is time for people, not governments to decide it is not right.

So I have seen some conversations, and even debates about the upcoming games and China/Tibet. I my self think it should be a total boycott. If the government won’t make a decision then maybe the Athletes should. I just can not see showing any support on any level for this.

I think one of the reasons is ( this may be shallow but I “feel” this) the US is getting slammed from every which way but Sunday, over Guantanamo, Iraq, and a million other grievances. China on the other hand Did invade Tibet. China IS occupying Tibet, China IS repressing the Tibetan people. The only distain the world can come up with is boycott an athletic event? Just seems a little unbalanced.

So just wondering what others think about it.
