I'm reading about a Laird now :)
Highlander's Sword by Amanda Forester
Something about them Lairds (sighs)
Arch wrote: "Is Helicopter really being that bad? Is he being disliked? :)"he's supposed to be bad, isn't he?
my brother dared to tell me to fix him some scrambled eggs one time. I dumped a ton of salt on them and he never bothered me again ;)
Not big on wrestling myself but I'd read one of it was written well. Hubby loves that ultimate fight stuff but not really into the wrestling.I will admit that I have been to wrestling matches. When I was a kid we went several times and also once in my early 20s. Not interested in going anymore :)
I like Anne Stuart and it surprises me. I find myself being drawn into the story every time I pick up one of hers. The heroes are often a little too gamma for me but I still love em. I say I don't like something and I usually have that exception that makes it ok.
There are many older "bodice ripper" novels that have the hero being cruel to the heroine and some I can take depending on how cruel and humiliating he is to her. But most of the time he is able to redeem himself. But there are a few that just are not redeemable IMHO.
I have to admit I do prefer the alpha heroes but I've fallen for a few beta sweeties too. I don't like the cruel alphas (Catherine Coulter writes some). Nor do I like the cruel heroines. Though you don't see many of those.I also have an issue with ppl saying its unrealistic for modern virgins. Some ppl have morals and can control themselves. I know a few myself and I have a lot of respect for them. I have little respect for a man slut, though :)
Prisoner of My Desire has the heroine raping the hero. I actually love this book. Not sure if many authors could pull it off though.

ppl stopped asking me about kids when they realized I wanted em but can't have em. We finally adopted when I was 39 yrs old. I always thought I'd have a houseful.
great lists pplHarper, # 4 is my hubby. he is very sociable. I'm the non social of us too. it amazes me how he can go up to anyone and start a conversation.
in fact many of ur requires also decribe my hubby except for reading (book lover). he wont read anything but the Bible. anyway he's taken and u can't have him :)
physically he's all wrong for u though :)
I like the flirtation he has with jules but I don't want them together. that always seem to ruin shows. We need a girl for Lassie (hehe) lol
Ever read Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard?Lets hope a psycho doesn't come after us for telling what our dream guys are like lol :)

excellent list and I want to add to mine the love of children and animals and being able to cook/clean house.. handy man is good but knows when to call a professional if its over his head :)
the cleanliness and good hygiene goes without saying.
ok my dream man1. definitely got to be a friend.
2. body - nice to be in shape but not interested in a body builder. I don't care for overly tall men. Somewhere between 5'10 and 6' is perfect. (I'm only 5'3")
3. eyes - color doesn't matter. the love and compassion in them do.
4. a man of faith is important to me too.
5. I don't want a comedian but someone who will laugh at my jokes and be able to take my sarcasm would be great. I wouldn't mind someone who could tell jokes but it's not that important.
6. hair - I married a red head :) truly though I prefer dark haired men. Don't care for excessively long hair but other than that I'm ok with.
7. A man that supports me in my endeavors and there when I need a shoulder to lean on.
8. Someone who can communicate his feelings to me. Someone I can communicate my feelings to.
9. Someone you can sit on the front porch with and watch the grass grow and not be uncomfortable with the silence.
10. He can dance!
ok there is my preliminary list. Subject to change upon my whim.
Darcy wrote: "I am reading Cry No More, not sure if it has a bad boy in it, but it looks like it might."Yeah, a bad boy! But one of the best bad boys ever!
I have a red headed hubby and he is hairy but u don't notice it on him like u would a dark haired man.
