I recently read Dangerous Lies by Anna Louise Lucia and the hero in a courier of some sort pretending to be a businessman. The heroine is kidnapped because of him and when she finally learns the truth... Well, it's not pretty :)
So watched the shows tonight... Is Abby jealous? I always thought her and McGee were a cute couple :)And what does everyone think of that new guy on NCIS LA ?

its not very realistic though. Not every guy out there waits til he is 30 and then magically finds the woman of his dreams.
You want a lot of pregnant women then read the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr :) Everyone gets pregnant there.
I like it when he pampers her. A sensual massage or feeds her teasingly. He cooks dinner or something to help her out when she has had a rough day. But it works both ways. She can do the same back when he has a rough day.
Yes and NoIf I'm reading a series I don't mind and even crave a peek at previous characters. But in truth I really prefer non series novels because I don't always want a view into others lives. I'm concentrating on the story I'm on. Plus if its a series and I haven't read the whole series in order then I miss out on a lot. Does this make sense? probably not but I never claimed I made any sense :)

Good sex isn't necessarily always about experience or experti..."I don't dislike the virgin hero. I have a few faves with virgin heroes. Its all in how the author treats it, I suppose. I just don't think the first time is going to be all that magical if neither knows whats going on. Reading a book or having dad explain the birds and bees isn't going to make the hero an expert.
I think one of my reasons for preferring a moderately experienced hero is the fact I can't imagine 2 virgins knowing what to do when the times comes. One of those things that just don't ring true for me is having that scene where neither really knows what to do but the author makes it magical anyway.
I feel a real love relationship is more than just sex. I mean bully for those guys who can do it 7 times in one night! What if something happens and H/h can't have sex for x number of days/weeks etc? Will they be able to stand each other? Do they find comfort in each other's presence? Will the one who can have sex be able to control themselves? No I'm not in support of the little energizer bunny. He has his place but it's not in true romance unless its the honeymoon or something :)
I have found myself often thinking that the hero needs to slow down. So many are ready to jump in the sack less than two minutes after meeting the heroine. I know that sex sells but come on! I love a good sex scene too but I much prefer a tender, meaningful love scene over just sex.And apparently sex is a cure all. No matter how bad the hero or heroine feel (even after being shot, stab or ran over by a car) sex is on their minds. Get real. I love my hubby but if I was just shot I'm NOT having sex. I like the ones who cuddle and care for the wounded one no matter what their sex drive tells them. Though, realisticly, I doubt I'd want anything but pain pills and for NO ONE to touch me.
But like many things involved in a story a lot depends on the author and how she/he pulls it off.

They help me a lot in choosing future reads. I'm not offended by any of ur remarks. I wish I could be more vocal in my reviews. Several times I've gone to check out a review for specific info and can't find it. I have good intentions but can't seem to carry through with them :(
I also try to help when someone is looking for a book but can't remember the name. I come here and go through so many and get frustrated that so many don't have the reviews that could tell me if they could be the one. Then I give up and hope that someone with a better memory than me can step in :)
I am the worst for not giving reviews. my reason is the fact I can't often find the words that can describe my feelings about the story. sometimes I will have a nice little paragraph written out and then I delete it because I'm not happy at how I worded it. sometimes there are so many reviews on a particular book I find its not necessary to add mine.
