My personal choice would be Honour's Splendor or The Prize.

29443 I, too, am in a tie between Leo of Married By Morning (The Hathaways, #4) by Lisa Kleypas and Jack from Something About You by Julie James

but I think I'm going to go with Leo. He had such lovely things to say to Marks. Swoon worthy for sure. Jack was great but fought it too hard IMHO.

Now, ask me how much I remember? Or the names of the books? Or if I actually read them or used them more like a fan? ;)"

lol I could never read 20 a day. My tops per day is maybe 3 or 4 silhouettes/harlequins.

I could read the synopsis of 20 books though :)

29443 haha, I like the sleeping idea! lol

A hard question since there are some great fairy tales out there. I do like Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel but I think it would have to be either Princess and the Pea or Rumpelstiltskin or The Ugly Duckling.

29443 Kathy Anne, Hubby tells stories of how he'd take the "short cut" to shore patrol with the rowdy, mouthy drunks, through the hilly golf course and those guys didn't have any seatbelts back there. Of course, that meant he had to hose down the back of the paddy wagon (van) when he got back and had to survive the smell. lol

29443 Zee, Not really. He was already reforming when I met him. He still had a little mischief in him for a few years but mellowed with age.

Edit to add - He worked shore patrol in the US Navy when I met him. So he was bad to the bad guys lol :)

29443 My hubby used to be a bad boy but it was before I met him. He tells stories of some of the things he once did like throwing a boy out the window at school because he wouldn't let him copy his paper. But he is a good boy now.

I remember reading one not too long along where the hero had pock marks on his face. I think it was Elizabeth Hoyt but I'm not sure.

Well, that's a good question. Personally, I wouldn't want them to. I like the "perfect" hero/heroine. But seriously, I have read a few books where the H/h were less than perfect.

Yes, even her worst is worth reading :)

29443 I, on the other hand, haven't read any Garwood book I didn't like. Of course, there are some I've liked and then some I loved. I'm not overly crazy about her contemporaries but I still liked them. I absolutely loved all the ones East mentioned, even the ones she didn't care for.

29443 Thank YOU, Danielle!

29443 Alistair Munroe from To Beguile a Beast by Elizabeth Hoyt receives my March vote. Another tortured hero in a charming beauty and the beast tale.
Jun 09, 2010 07:31AM

29443 My February hero is Ciaran Tamberlane from My Forever Love by Marsha Canham.
He is a virgin hero that was once a Templar. He's tortured but still honorable. A man with true heart.

29443 I was torn between Harry from Tempt Me at Twilight and Marcus from Revealed but ultimately I choose Marcus because I felt he was a more honorable and likable hero.

29443 Hard to pick one for April because I was in a bit of a reading rut. But I'm going with Lord Stephen Barrett in Red Roses Mean Love by Jacquie D'Alessandro

Doesn't really matter to me but if you are going to do a Hero of the Year it would make more sense to me personally.

29443 Are you going to go back to January? Just curious :)
