My choice for Hero of the month of March is "Mack" Makarian of An Accidental Goddess by Linnea Sinclair.

Stuck on a Scifi Romance roll right now. Loved this character. The heroine is thrown into the future and wakes up on a space station where Admiral Rynan "Mack" Makarian is in charge of security. He is suspicious of her, thinking she is a smuggler or something. So he makes a point to keep an eye on her. She is no shrinking violet so she doesn't need a "savior". But Mack was a wonderful character and made it work.

Have not seen movie but want to. I'm going with Superman too.

I think Superman has adjusted well with his circumstances. All he wants is to save people.

Batman has that dark tortured side. I can see him as a villain easier than Superman.

The reason is simple. Jill Shalvis writes some of the best heroes ever. They are almost perfect. Gorgeous, caring, knows what their women need. I'm in love with almost every one of them.
