We all talk about what books we want on the deserted island but what single item (people are not items) do you want?

I must admit I love the covers with the sexy poses but I'd rather have a plain dull cover than a cover that doesn't match the characters.

To tell the honest truth, I used to not pay attention to the covers back in the 70 and 80s. I mean I looked but never really paid attention to the models and how good/bad they looked. I pay more attention now that I'm old.

A bookcover may attract me to a book but the synopsis and/or author will ultimately make my decision. I will rarely buy a book based solely on the cover.
