29443 Ok, I'll answer my question. I do value honesty but I will admit that I'd probably not like everything that would be said about me. But I do want to hear it so I could make some attempt at bettering myself.

29443 If you asked your friends and acquaintances how they really feel about you and they were truly honest, do you think you would really want to hear what they actually think?

29443 NOMAD, I had to read The Lottery in school and I had nightmares.

29443 The longest book I've read was The Count of Monte Cristo. I read the Bible but it's technically a collection of books. I read Gone With The Wind and it was long. I try to stay away from those honkers.

29443 My daughter doesn't like processed cheese either. ☺ She will eat cheddar cheese and string cheese and nothing else.

29443 Then you should stick to the cheddar cheese recipe ☺

29443 I have a recipe that is similar but very tasty that my mom and a bunch of folks around here do. It doesn't have the Pimentos or Lawry's season salt but it uses most of the other ingredients, I think. And it's very yummy!!!! Oh and my recipe uses velveeta cheese instead of cheddar

29443 Nomad, are you thinking bout this old classic? Fanny Hill, or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure

29443 I'm in the middle. I don't care for excessively long books (500+) nor do I really think a story can be adequately told in a short novella (100-). A story that gets too long usually has a lot of descriptive paragraphs that can be tedious to get through. Whereas a short novella often lacks development and leaves me with many unanswered questions.

29443 So BDB brought you out? I don't remember what book brought me out of my long slump. I remember I was reading a bunch of historicals. I think I grabbed a book I'd already read before. I got rid of hundreds of books but kept a select few. It was probably Julie Garwood or Kathleen Woodiwiss.

29443 Not sure it was a book slump but I did stop reading for a couple of years. I just couldn't get myself to read anything except for magazines and the like.

29443 For my hubby all I can think of is a younger Ron Howard. Hubby used to be teased and called Opie when he was young. My daughter is only 12. She used to resemble Lindsey Lohan in Parent Trap. But Lindsey can't hold a candle to her. My daughter is gorgeous. I will have to break out the shotguns pretty soon. lol Now for me.... hmmm, I probably look more like Kathy Bates but I want someone more gorgeous like Michelle Pheifer or Meg Ryan or Christie Brinkley. When they were a bit younger, of course.

My story would be a comedy. Maybe a romantic comedy.

29443 Too much dialogue during sex is irritating to me also. I mean, really, do people really have such long conversations during the act? I know I don't. I might be an oddity and maybe talking during sex is really a normal thing but I don't think it is.
