I'm reading a lot of peeves that should have been on MY list but I was trying to keep it at a minimum ☺
Too many to list them all... lol1. Definitely cell phone use while driving.
2. People who pass you in a vehicle and then slow down. GRRRR.
3. People who keep talking even when they know you got to go and, of course, I'm too polite to interrupt.
4. People who call and tell me all their woes like I can do something about it. (I'm a good listener but sometimes I like happy news)
5. People who only call you when they want something.
6. Excessively messy people. I can handle some clutter but hate stuff thrown on the floor.
7. People who say they are bored all the time. (These are usually the people with trash all over their floor.)
@Megan, I can handle unnaturally happy people over those unnaturally gloomy ones. I have a brother who calls sometimes and only talks about how bad he has it and how he probably won't live much longer and he doesn't have any food and the plumbing is broke and the electricity doesn't work, etc...
I think Wulfgar from KEW's
qualifies as dangerous. Agree on KMM's highlanders. Julie Garwood's historical heroes are supposed to be dangerous but they never quite "feel" that way to me. But I love em anyway.
Happy friday! Bah Humbug!!!! Dang piggies keep getting out and I got to be the one to round em back up to their pen. No one here but me. I didn't sign up for this! I'm a city girl not a farmer girl. :(
Man, I forgot to list Fall TV season! Also love Thanksgiving and it's food. LOVE LOVE LOVE pecan pie!
Well, because of my allergies that are worst in the fall, autumn is not something I look forward to. But1. The beauty of the changing leaves
2. The cooler temperature
3. Getting ready for the holidays coming
4. School events/football games/cheering our team
5. Lower electric bills
That is the way we should all feel, Jessica. ☺ But so many of us have a need to please. My need to please is limited to a small number of people so I don't worry too much on that end. Still I want to be thought of with kind thoughts.
Yes, honesty regarding the physical aspect can be tricky. We all want perfection and most cannot acheive that. But what about the personality or soul of who you are. The "what's inside" part of you? Do you feel good about yourself and who you are? Do you believe people preceive you in the same way you do?
I think as far as some things go it's all a matter of perspective. My opinion about something can differ from another person's. For instance, if someone was to ask you if you liked the dress they have on. Your personal opinion could be that it is inappropriate and shows way too much skin. But someone else may think it displays your assets very nicely.
