29443 Welcome, Christina, to the world of dangerous heroes!

29443 I can't remember the book but I read one where the first "scene" or meeting of the H/h lasted about a third of the book. Most of it was them talking back and forth. Literally repeating the same things over and over again. I think I did finish it but I wanted to throw that one up against the wall.

29443 I'm not big into heavy dialogue. I prefer more action. Books that use too much dialogue bore me and seem to be repetitive, saying the same thing over and over. So the answer to your question - YES, a book can have too much dialogue and I've read a few.

29443 On occasion if its in my preferred genre then I may but no if its not. I'll look more at the reviews of friends than the fact that everyone is reading it.

Still have not read Harry Potter, Twilight or 50 Shades and have no desire to.

29443 Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "Pamela, I like Nicholas Cage a lot as an action star. He can be kind of sexy a times, although his hair usually looks weird. I went through a huge Mel Gibson stage!"

I remember him being really sexy in ConAir.

29443 Hmmm, I'm indifferent to him. He doesn't bug me nor do I find him overly attractive.
