I loved the meeting in Prince Charming by Julie Garwood. The meeting in the ballroom. The hero walks in and causes quite a stir and then goes straight to the heroine. Sigh. Loved Julie Garwood's Ransom had a good meet scene too. He has come to see this woman who claims to be his bride. hehe. Actually I like all of Ms Garwood's meeting scenes.

Starting reading this. It felt like I was reading it for the first time because I didn't remember much of it at all. The prologue is very heart wrenching. Guaranteed to make me love the character, Sebastian. I simply cannot comprehend how people can treat a little boy in that manner. The cook was awesome. I liked how he made up his mind to be his own man. Forget trying to please other people. He learned that money was important and decided that was his goal in life. Bravo!

I've read a few of them and I've enjoyed them.

I read this a few years ago and it was okay for me. I didn't get the hype over it. Anyway, I found it at the library and will reread it and see if I missed something. Give me a few days to read it though. I got 5 other books from the library and I got 2 other rereads going too. Not too much at one time, eh?

lol. I have a reader but still prefer my paperbacks. I usually only use it to read books I can't get a paperback in.
I loved all Johanna Lindsey's books when I first read them. I reread a bunch of them within the past couple of years and found certain ones didn't hold up for me. Captive Bride was one, along with Paradise Wild. Still liked Silver Angel, though. I've noticed her heroes have mellowed with her newer books.
