Do you have any plans on venturing out of your current genres/sub-genres to write in unfamiliar territory? If so, what potential genre?
Have you ever been influenced by actual historical events? Have you ever tried to incorporate certain events in your stories? And thanks for your time!

To be a bystander only, I'd love to visit England around the time of William the Conqueror or Scotland, also in medieval times. Maybe attend a weekend party at a large country estate during Regency England or even peek in at a ball in London. But just for a short time!

Wow, that would actually be a fairly easy question for me. As much as I love to read about history (medieval, georgian, regency, american west) I wouldn't want to live there. I love the technology we have today so I would pick the future. Or if you mean historic only, then I guess the 40s or 50s. I got to have a time where they had indoor plumbing and electricity.
1. What do you think of the characters? Who stands out to you? Is the villain a scary character? I did like the characters. I know this is the first in the series and we'll learn more about them in the rest of the series but I felt we got a good glimpse into their lives. Since this is Cal's story I guess he stood out most to me but I am curious about Gage and how his childhood affects him as an adult. I think the villain is uber-scary.2. Does the storyline keep your interest? The writing draw you in? To a degree. I wasn't sucked in and it didn't really grab me but it was enough to stir my curiosity.
3. What did you like about Blood Brothers? What didn't you like about this book? The concept intrigued me but the execution didn't thrill me.
4. Are you going to continue this series? Possibly. I do want to know the outcome.
5. What books would you recommend to readers who enjoyed this one? Don't know. Maybe Karen Rose if someone wants some uber-villains and still have the romance element.
6. Overall rating out of 1-10 or out of 1-5 stars? Maybe a 4 out of 10 or 3 out of 5.
I tend to stay away from horror movies (i.e. Halloween or Elm Street type movies) but I don't mind thrillers/suspense/mysteries as long as they're not too gory or scary.
Lee *show me the smut* Anne wrote: "Kristina wrote: "Also: (unrelated) am I seriously the only person on the planet that doesn't like Eloisa James?? I've tried and tried because so many friends and beloved authors rave about her, but..."I have yet to read one. I picked one or two up and couldn't get pass the first chapter. I haven't given up on her yet though.
Yeah, those are pretty scary, Faithmarie! My mom has an irrational fear of heights and horses and snakes. She worked at Walmart and if someone was buying a plastic snake or worms for fishing she wouldn't touch them to check them out. She made the customer or another checker scan them instead.
I don't have any phobias per se but I don't care for big bugs, spiders, and snakes.I guess people scare me more than anything. There are some real wackos out there.
I love all that food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The baked goods and food I don't see except during those holidays. And the smells of the season too. Hmmmm!
