Not yet. The only one I have read so far is the first and to be honest I didn't care for it all that much, I like the musical way better. What I do like is L. Frank Baum's world of Oz and I like to collect others' works based on his.

My problem when listening to an audiobook while driving isn't that I lose the thread of the story, I focus too much on the book and tend to lose the thread of the road! lol

I know what you mean. I've been very tempted to listen to audiobooks when I go hiking, except they then interfere with my other hobby, birdwatching. Kind of hard to hear the birds when you're listening to a book. :-)

22225 Happy New Year all! How many books do you think you will read this new year? I aimed for 300 and ended up with finishing 403 total in 2016 but I don't think I can do that again, so I am going to shoot for at least 345 this year and see where I end up. Best of luck to you and remember, just have fun!

Believe it or not, but I actually finished 2016 having read a total of 403 books!

I just happen to be a fast reader, I can finish about a 100 pages an hour, so I can finish a 300 page book in one evening easy. That's how I've gotten up to the 380 books read so far this year. I just might hit 390 by year's end after all.

22225 I came across this quote and I must admit I don't feel so guilty for checking the hardcover books out of the library when they come out but then waiting to buy them cheaper in paperback or used.

[D]on’t ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that’s what they’re there for. Use your library). Don’t apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend’s copy. What’s important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read…

It's interesting to me that of the only four books that I have given 5-star ratings to this year, two of them were these theater-related ones.
