22225 Just "visited" Lake Sackett, Georgia again with a reread of Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper

22225 I'm doing better than expected, but I think that's because I seem to be reading so many more graphic novels this year than usual. If that's still the case when we get closer to the end of the year, I think I might bump up my challenge number to cancel those graphic novels out.

In any case, I'm currently at 154 books completed out of 355 which puts me at 46 books ahead of schedule or 43% done.

22225 I'm up to 113 books completed which puts me 26 books ahead of schedule as I aim for my goal of 355. How are you doing so far?

22225 I don't know why, but lately I have had a multitude of series or trilogies come out with their final book and I just can't bring myself to read them. I loved the series and I've read books one and two of the trilogies, but I just don't seem to feel interested in reading that final book. I don't know if subconsciously I just don't want to see them end or if I just seem to have lost interest. I must admit I have read many trilogies where I kind of wish they had just been a single book, book one was a fine complete story by itself and books two and three just are not as good as book one was. Have you ever had this happen? Why? What did you do about it?

22225 Let's try this again. See if you can fill up a box of crayons with the titles of books you read.

You're primary challenge is to read at least six books, one that has Red in the title, one that has Orange in the title, one that has Yellow in the title, one that has Green in the title, one that has Blue in the title, and one that has Purple or Violet in the title.

Secondarily, feel free to read more and add any other titles that might have the names of crayons you'd find in a box of Crayola. Exact names or color variations are all acceptable

Examples:
Pink: A Coral Kiss, coral is a shade of pink
Red: The Fire Rose, while it is referring to the flower here, you can use it as a shade of red.
Orange: Blood Orange, again this refers to the fruit, but go ahead and use it as the color.
Green: The Green Mill Murder, this matches exact, of course
Blue: Cocaine Blues, it means the music, but it contains the word.
Black: A Study in Sable, sable is a shade of black.
Peach: Peach Pies and Alibis, may be the fruit but it is a color, too.
Brown: Brownies and Broomsticks, it contains the word so go ahead.

22225 Happy New Year! I finished 2017 with a total of 422 books read! That beats my previous record of 403 books read in 2016 big time! My goal was only 345! Even so, I think I'm just going to aim for 355 this year. That's close to a book a day, but still gives me some wiggle room so I hope I won't feel pressured. How about you? How'd you do last year? What's your goal for this year? Whatever it is, I hope you have a great 2018. Happy reading all!

Back at the beginning of the year I thought I couldn't do a repeat of 2016 and read at least 403 books. Boy was I wrong! I finished 2017 having read 422 books! That shocks me too! How did you all end up?
