213642 Hehe! Glad someone liked that. :)

There's a lot of WDW to cover, especially with the Evolution of it, not just how it is now. We'll visit rides that haven't been around in ages, and are missed!! :D

213642 There are no stupid questions!

A movie tie-in book is a novelization of a movie or ties into a movie. The movie came first, not the book. So books about Star Wars, or Star Trek would be movie tie ins.

Check out this List for ideas. It doesn't have to be a straight novelization, it just has to be a novel about that universe when the movie was the first thing about it. Like HP wouldn't be considered because the books came before the movies, but something like the book I read ~ Beauty and the Beast Lost in a Book by Jennifer Donnelly works because it's not a direct novelization of the movie but is a new story within the time frame of when the movie took place.

213642 That's perfect Claire!!

Well done ladies! Will get the next part up. Since so many were catching up, I'm gonna leave the completed as is. It's detailed and needs bunch of finishers, so get together and talk things through. Let Angie and I know if you'd like us to do specific ones, or just chip in somewhere.

Also, don't forget that one TASK doesn't mean one BOOK. And if the task said "at least" or "all", you MUST read that many for that to be considered one TASK complete.
Sep 16, 2017 11:53AM

213642 You can change around. :) Each have their own scale, so you don't have to go by the ones at the start unless you really want to.
Sep 16, 2017 11:52AM

213642 Depending on your browser, if you don't mind an addon, "Nibus" or "Awesome Screenshots" are on both Chrome and Firefox and make it simple to take a shot. Just highlight what you want to take basically.

You'd have to save the file as a photo file to your PC, then upload it to a file sharing site, like Imgur. Then you can post that link, or just send the link itself.

Sorry it's causing you problems. I'll put together a way to post things like that.
Sep 16, 2017 06:15AM

213642 Are you taking all the spaces out? Cuz usually it'll do image error when there's something wrong with the formatting. Did you save the screenshot as a picture file, or did it get saved as an html file, that might have caused the error?

If you can get it hosted on a place like imgur, you can just send the link to that.

I'm headed out for the morning/afternoon, so will help later today when I get back if you still haven't gotten it.

Remind me (someone) and I'll do a series of How To stuff for html. I've been using html for 20 years, so it's like second nature to me, I don't think about it and forget not everyone knows it. :)

213642 Hi Maritza!

To post an image, paste the url of where you are hosting the image in between the quotation marks AND delete the space after the < and before the >. the only space shound be between img & src

< img src="" >

213642 No problems at all, don't apologize!!!! I try to plaster everything everywhere, but I know things get missed, so I just like to let you know where you can find the info. :)

213642 As your question is, no.

For completing a puzzle and/or word find, you receive the Mickey Head Token, either 5 or 2 depending on the puzzle / word find you choose to do. It's not one you can pick of, you just get that Token upon completion/sending to mod.

The picking of a reward from the newsletter is for one of the "Booty Rewards". You can pick any two, other than the Gold & Silver. Those you can pick two of, after sending in one each of the puzzle and word find.

213642 That sounds like a crazy two months, but a fun two months!! I hope you have a great time, especially with the move, I know that's been a long time coming! :)

213642 Woooo Stacey!! Glad you have joined it! We hope you like it here at BARC!
Sep 15, 2017 08:23AM

213642 Yes, you most absolutely can.

The Tokens are not required to start/participate and will be earned more readily within Evo.

I don't want to give anything away yet, so explaining is hard.

If we think of it in terms of how Return to Hogwarts is run, a Token would be similar (not the same, but similar) to a "Completed Criteria".

Does this help any? I know we are secretive, I'm sorry!

Honestly, Evo is so big, it's not done and likely won't be done in the next years. Yes, years. It's gonna be MASSIVE and it's going to be always always evolving. (Ha! No pun intended!) So, what Tokens are for / do now may change, but please be assured, having Tokens already isn't a big advantage, it won't hinder anyone and you'll earn Tokens right away within Evo, with the opportunity to always earn more.

213642 No, sorry. Per Rules & Regulations of BARC

213642 I was going to say no, but since the actual definition is "a light umbrella used to give shade from the sun" I'll have to say yes it works. :)
