What was it that you liked about that book Jenny? Why was it the BBotY for you? I started it and didn't get far before it was a DNF for me, I don't remember why though, just know I didn't like it starting off. Love to hear why you liked it so much.

Hi Twist!! :) Just on time, I finished up the last of my Demon books. Here's what I thought. 
Dare Mighty Things was great! 4.5 stars. The characters were good, the story was great. It really kept my attention and landed on my Top 64 books list, I think it made it to the bracket of 16. It would have been a 5 star if it weren't for the very end, I didn't like the direction it took. Still, good enough to read more.
Extracted was meh. 2 stars. Didn't like the characters, the story was ok. There were too many good parts with too many dull parts and didn't care for the writing. Author liked to repeat himself. Not with something about it, but with dialogue. Not good.
Mortal Danger was good, not great. 3 stars. I liked this one starting off but it bored me as it went along. Went in directions I wasn't really expecting. If it kept up the fast pace would have loved it but it kind of went back and forth with things going on and not. Good enough I'll probably try the next one.
Omega City was great! 4 stars. I liked the characters, I liked the story, I especially loved the Omega City. It was unique and their exploration of it was fun. It went onto a late edition of my top 64 books and made it to the round of 32 I believe, might have made it to 16 if I'd paired it with something different. Really cute & fun!
No Easy Target was good, not great. 3 stars. I really really liked the story and I really liked her ability with animals, but I didn't care for her or him. They were flat to me, except her abilities, and they had weird conversations that didn't feel/flow right to me. Might have just been the narrator? Wasn't a fan. Wasn't my favorite of the Iris Johansen books, but I'm glad I read it.
