213642 Thanks Plethora! I'm hoping to get to all those. I'm a pretty big Grabenstein fan, read almost everything he's written, just haven't gotten around to the 3rd book yet. The series is cute.

Pairings have usually been posted on the 1st. The sign-ups usually run the 24th - 30th/31st, then the pairings go up on the 1st. I think last month was late though, just with craziness of holidays/being sick.

213642 Hey Amanda,

I finally got around to reading Ash Princess and really enjoyed it. It took a little while to get going for me, but I think that was because I wasn't sitting and reading it all at once, but rather in chapter spurts and it wasn't staying with me. I sat and finished it today and found it quite enjoyable.

It's similar to a lot of the other kinds of YA like this, but I liked the characters and the story. I definitely will read more. 4 stars. Thanks for picking it for me! Sorry I didn't get to the 2nd book, I was glad I finally got one in!!
Feb 05, 2018 05:09PM

213642 Sorry you are still on hold for it. I'll move things around for now, but we can always move 'em back if you get it and with the Title plus things in the book I'm sure we'll be able to use it for other villains if it takes that long to get it. :)

I'll keep the R book in mind too Jackie.

I'll probably start an E book tonight. We're near wrapping this villain up! :D

213642 Hey Ashley, will you still be getting to *Into the Drowning Deep* for the Ocean task? If you didn't think you'd get to it or didn't want it, we could move mine there, as my newest book (covering M Title) has the word octopus, so I can use it there and the Drowning Deep for ocean. Up to you, I know you wanna read it, just didn't know if you were getting it any time soon.

213642 Here's the two I found:

Say You'll Remember Me
A Gentleman Always Remembers

They aren't my kind of books but I could read the first one if needed.

213642 Amanda wrote: "I love fantasy/paranormal, YA, and lots of romance."

Looking around, thought I'd pop in. Here are some I can think of:

~ Elemental Assassins series by Jennifer Estep ~ urban fantasy (MC owns a BBQ joint)
~ several of Nora Roberts books including the Inn Boonsboro trilogy and the Bride Quartet (owns a B&B and a wedding business)
~ Kendra Elliot series by Iris Johansen (owns her own music therapy place)
~ In Death series by J.D. Robb (Roarke owns half the world!)

I'll probably think of more but I'm off to bed. Good luck finding something. :D

213642 Angie, my WW, I just gotta!! :)

The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss cuz it's awesome
Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb cuz you gotta get caught up! ;)
Jan 31, 2018 08:44AM

213642 Oh YAY!! So glad you enjoyed it!! I love it when someone loves my recommendations!! Woooooo!
Jan 30, 2018 07:07PM

213642 LOL! ;)

No, doesn't say it has to show all, but by our own Rules & Regs, it needs to be 50% or more of the item. I guess that's about half of it, since it's probably just a little part of the screw down in there? It's very clear what it is, so I guess it works?
Jan 30, 2018 05:13PM

213642 I'll keep looking for Thingamabob then. Finding plenty with wines but not a lot with the corkscrew, or enough of it anyways.
Jan 30, 2018 02:59PM

213642 Yup, it definitely works! Woooo!

Angie found one Thingamabob but it was only partial so I'm trying to find another. We're looking for more of a corkscrew than actual screw, so I'm looking for fiction books to do with wine.

Found this A Riesling to Die (The Wine Trail Mysteries #1) by J.C. Eaton but I'm hoping to find something not a cozy mystery. :)

213642 Anyone not able to get anything that you need someone else to cover? Was about to start looking for Eric/Vanessa, but wanted to see if anyone was already planning on covering those, or anything y'all can't find that I should be looking for instead?
