208213 This month, a twist on the spooky October theme! Read a dystopian or (post)apocalyptic book! It does not have to be horror.

208213 A bit late, but I put up the wrap-up thread if anyone wants to add their thoughts about their book(s) over there :)

208213 I was planning on reading something else, but I stumbled upon this horror-mystery-ghost story that I might as well count for this month. It's called The Job of the Wasp and it was super strange, oddly unsettling, and existential.

208213 Hey everyone! Sorry this is up a little late. I know people are commenting in the original thread, but feel free to leave your thoughts here about what you read this month!

i've been wanting to read that! I'm so glad you liked it. I should just buy it for Kindle because my library doesn't have it :(

208213 I already have Death at the Durbar checked out of the library, but IDK if I can read it in time because it's due back in 5 days and I can't renew it.

I've had Out and Black Orchid Blues on my TBR list for a while, so I may try to get either/both of those.

208213 This month, borrow Latoya’s magnifying glass and ask like Oprah: what is the truth? It’s time to read a mystery!

208213 Jack Ketchum wrote The Secret Life of Souls, which I liked. If you like animals/dogs and want something a little darker then I recommend it :)
