If you don’t recognize this old-school ONTD reference, do yourself a favour and don’t google it. It’s just a fact that this month, our task is to read a nonfiction book.

I read The Tourist Trail, which is an eco-thriller featuring the perspectives of 3 different characters. Angela, a naturalist, falls for Aeneas, an animal rights activist. Robert is a federal agent on a mission to arrest Aeneas, and also is grieving for a lover, Noa, who he lost on a previous failed mission. Then we have Ethan, who is infatuated with an animal rights activist. When I started the book I didn't realize it would be so romance-heavy but it was done well and was a mix of fuck em both and love is lit, lol.

Share what you read for this month! If you liked it, would you recommend it, etc.

i'm reading The Tourist Trail which i didn't plan on including for the challenge but i'm about halfway through and there's definitely romance in it. i don't think any of these romances are going to end up happy tho lmao.

FEBRUARY - Love is Lit! / “fuck them both for thinking they could be happy”
This month, get in the Valentines mood and celebrate love by reading a romance. OR, get your schadenfreude on and read a book about a breakup.

I put In The Tall Grass on hold... I was planning on tackling It, but realistically I don't think that's going to happen soon lol.

enjoy! i listened to it on audiobook over the summer and really liked it.
