I haven't updated my goals in a while, mainly because I have been hard at work completing them. :)
1. Hardcover complete and released.
2. Website complete...kind of, I still have a little tweeking and a couple more pages I am working on, but it is complete enough to start sharing.
3. Contact 5 reviewers...not done yet
4. Contact 5 bloggers...contacted 3/5
5. Work on book 5...I haven't been in a good book writing mood this week so far. Still a couple days left though :)

Best of luck with your goals Jannie! And wishing you luck too Skye!

Thanks Wolfen! :) I actually have a resource page in my future plans. I hope to have articles with tips for parents as well as activity/craft ideas related to each book.

Not a silly question at all. My fault for dropping into jargon!
It's the tiny image that appears next to your websit..."Great instructions, thanks! I did my logo that I use for my social media. I may need to make my words a little bigger though. Or just go with a character picture like you suggested earlier.

Thank you very much for the feedback Erin and Jon. I am working on implementing some of those ideas. :) Originally I wanted a home page with images of my books or a slideshow gallery, but I am still trying to figure out how to add it. I also agree with the social media share links and social media links in my footer, but that is another option I am trying to figure out how to add. My theme did not automatically come with those options but there has to be a way to add them.
Erin, I decided to go with .org
Jon, this may be a stupid question but what is a favicon image?
Thanks again for the input and a huge thanks to everyone who has provided me input along the way!!!

It has been a long few weeks, but after lots of research, questions, and yes...a few tears I have finally done it. I have created a website! Before announcing the website to my readers, I thought I would run it by my Goodreads family first. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Please, if you give feedback and I don't implement it, don't think I didn't like what you had to say. Most likely I am still trying to figure out how to do it lol. :) Here is the link:

Welcome to the group Nini!

That helps. Thank you everyone! I feel the most polite action would be to ask permission first, regardless of the amount of the review I plan to post. Off to start sending messages and emails. :)

I would like to have a page on my website that lists reviews I have received. Am I allowed to copy and paste reviews from Amazon or Goodreads or do I have to receive permission from the reviewer first?

Thank you Carrie!

My husband was never able to break the habit of using two. Drives me crazy! lol Most resume articles list using two spaces as a negative because it can show your age.

I promised an update when I received my hardcover book from Ingram Spark. I choose the premium print option which is suppose to be better than standard. The cover is vibrant and the book is well bound. The paper thickness feels equivalent to Createspace even though they claim the premium is thicker. The print quality is pretty comparable to Createspace. When held side by side, Ingram Spark's premium option is slightly more vibrant. Overall, I am happy with the premium print option from Ingram Spark for hardcover full color books. I may try standard in the future to see if the difference in quality is worth the extra you have to pay for premium. Hope this helps!

One. I was taught in school to use two though.

Thoughts and prayers for you, your mom, and the doctors Alex.

I am so jealous Nancy. I would move closer to the mountains in a heartbeat if it weren't for all my family living in the flat Midwest.

Hello Patti! Welcome to the group!

My something good, I am closing in on 100 likes on my Facebook page. I know that is nothing compared to many of you, but it is still an exciting milestone. :)

Looks great!

Way to go Carrie!

I know some authors that make business cards to hand out at festivals or leave places. I do bookmarks.
