Thank you Jon. I appreciate your advice!

Welcome Jon! Your article was excellent! :)

Congrats Aislinn!
J., it doesn't hurt. Especially if you think you might ever do a book signing.

No kidding?! Was that because of book price or shipping? Just curious.

Ooh...that's a treasure. Thanks!

I heard that interview and it was very informative!

Gotcha. Good advice, as usual. ;)

I choose a couple cheaper options but due to the massive amount of requests there is a wait time of a few months. I will let you know how it goes but as a follower, I am impressed with her audience size, marketing and website quality.

She has a few cheaper offers too. Email her and she will break it down for you.

When you email a reviewer on Amazon do you just tell them that you saw their reviewer profile on Amazon and then request a review?

Thank Carole! I will make that my project for next week. :)

It is kind of like doing a book tour but it is all virtual. :)

A blog tour is where multiple blogs decide to feature you within a certain time span. You can contact bloggers and organize your own, or pay a company who does it for you. It is often recommended that you offer free books for the bloggers to do a giveaway or hold a larger giveaway through something like rafflecopter that readers can go to and enter.

I agree, The Children's Book Review is good too!

I have been contacting mommy bloggers. However, many of them are overwhelmed with constant offers and requests. Some can't get to my books for at least 6 months. Libraries and daycares have been good too.

I am looking to get more reviews for my books. I have reached out to many reviewers on this site as well as other groups I belong to (thank you to everyone who has already reviewed my books!). I looked at a few review groups on Goodreads but many of them seem to have lots of review requests without takers. Does anyone have suggestions on good groups or other ways to get reviews? Thank you!

This is a learning process for many of us, that is for sure.

Sounds like you have already found the best option for your book. :) If people aren't paying the 9.99 for paperback, I wouldn't waste my money getting it into hardcover unless you want to go all out to get it into brick and mortar. And like you already said, to fully take advantage you have to be willing to pay for returns which could be costly.
