Incase you are considering Diabolic Shrimp, I have been on this site for a while and really enjoy it! It is free.

Great article, Carole. I have worked with children in schools, but currently work with children and adults in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehab facilities. My passion is in a medical setting and I have always admired the nurses and CNAs. They have a challenging and often thankless job. Some nurses and most CNAs are grossly underpaid. It is not uncommon for me to get called in by a nurse or CNA to help in a challenging situation and I always walk away with a greater appreciation for what they do. Lots of claps for your article!

Welcome, Susan! I completely agree with your sentiments. I think there is power in numbers, and as indie authors, it is more important now than ever to band together.

Absolutely, Carole. Thanks! I have everything I need for you. I will send you and Brit the post and instructions as soon as all the spots are claimed.

Hello again! Keith Wheeler approached me and would like to co-host another Facebook page hop for children's authors. We are leaning toward Feb 1-2. Basically, you would post an into for the hop at the top of your page during those two days with a giveaway (book, gift card, or whatever you want). You determine the requirements to enter your giveaway. It could be liking and following your page, signing up for an email list, participating in a game, or any other creative ideas you have. Then you will post the link for the next stop on the hop. We will give you all that info once we have our lineup determined. We can take up to 20 authors so this is a first come first serve event. If interested, please email me your author name, url for your Facebook page, and your preferred email. My email is contact@talkingtalesbooks.com. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I bounce ideas off my husband, editor, and my brother who is also an author. They are all very honest and I can trust them to tell me exactly what they think. I also use beta readers.

That happened to me last month. I had 2 and a half weeks to receive my books before a big library event. I thought that would be plenty of time and when I put in my order the estimated time was 3 and a half weeks. I did get my order ahead of schedule and on time for my event, but I will not make that mistake again.

The founder of Amazon was named the richest person in the world, worth 90.6 billion. Bill Gates was a close second but from what I hear, he gave too much money to charity to rank first. Just an interesting fact...

I am glad the contest is doing so well! And it is only a week in!

You are creative enough to do the cover and peo..."Haha. Just came back from looking it up, then wished I had read one more comment because Alex explained it. I think there is a lot of great advice here already. Just wanted to chime in and wish you good luck. You got this! ;)

While it is sad, it is an important story that needs to be heard. I am glad you shared. Wishing you a very happy new year as well!

Welcome, Talena. It is nice to meet you. Just finished listening to your podcast. I can't stop crying. While my heart breaks for you and your family, I am encouraged by the strength you have found through God. Thank you for sharing your story.

Haha, glad I slipped my list in before Ted's.

Clapped for your article too. ;) You have such a fascinating life!
