I believe you can also get paid by submitting articles to publications that are associated with medium or being asked to write. Those are the articles that are really pushed on the main page. I haven't looked very far into it though. I believe Carole was invited to write some articles.

Petra-welcome to Facebook. :) You should create an author page so we can like and follow your page. Under the main menu, there should be a "page" section. In that section should be an option to create a new page. You will be able to set up an author page there.

However, if you do pay the monthly fee and clap for other authors, your fee will be distributed to them. So your fee is helping other authors.

How do you get paid for articles? Do you have to give them your bank account info, or can you opt for a different option like PayPal or check?
