189072 Every year I feel there are comments asking for short story recommendations for the Easy Point Getters, so I've made a list on Goodreads specifically for those books under 50 pages. I've added a few, but please add more and vote for some of your favorites if you have the time!

189072 Laura and JennH -

Easy point getters are under 50 (not 30) pages. If they are heavily illustrated they are worth .5, if they do not have illustrations they are worth 1 point.

Hope that clears things up!

189072 Tr1sha, like you said either edition is worth the same amount of points so either one is fine to use for this competition, but that is very odd!

I like this a lot! Thanks for the suggestion we will use this next year!

189072 Finished one last short story last night before going to bed, final points for October 14.5!

I'm hoping I'll read more the next 2 months, October was crazy but November and December are looking like perfect months to stay inside and get some reading done!

189072 Rebecca - Your personal timezone.

We started the competition on our personal timezones, so I figure it is fair to have the deadlines follow the same rules.

189072 As we are coming to an end of the first month of the challenge I wanted to remind everyone that points for October must be posted on your house thread by midnight on the 1st of November to count towards October's Round Robin. I will be posting the final scores for the month on the 2nd (or as soon as I have the final counts from all the houses!)

189072 superawesomekt - Yes! and the points from the book will go towards whichever month you finish it in.
