Sarina wrote: " Saga, Vol. 1October 10"
Yes! I was trying to think of a comic series I could read to get in some extra books and I haven't gotten around to Saga yet.
Gryffindor just got their second point as well, but we are still keeping the lead! I added so many books today, well done everyone!

Version Control"
Like John said, you're in! I just wanted to let you know that if you've finished any other books this month post them! They still count even though you didn't join until now
Wonderish wrote: "If I can still join I’m Hufflepuff"Welcome to Hufflepuff! Remember to post any books you've read this month on our house thread.
Zainab wrote: "So in our reserved post: do we include the books that have been counted by you already (and label them so), or just start fresh?"Please list the books I've already counted, and remember to make a new post like we have been doing anytime you update your list.
Celeste wrote: "Honore wrote: "Larka wrote: "I hope I'm not late to partecipate! Slytherin!!"Congrats on joining the winning team Larka! The Slytherin House is going to crush Ravenclaw this month!"
That's true."
Yeah, am I the only one that thinks those Slytherins must be cheating? :P lol jk
Margot wrote: "I'm not sure how to reserve a spot. Do I have to or can I just keep posting individual messages? I don't think I'll be in the top position anyway.[book:All M..."
No, the reserved posts are completely optional. Like you said, if you know you are not going to keep up with the top readers then there is really no reason you should have to make a post. We also realize some people only post from their phones in which there is no way to edit after you've posted. So, no these reserved posts are not required.
Susan wrote: "Ok Tori, so a reserved post to show # of pages & books for the month, & continue to post w/hyper link if possible each time we finish a book. Right?"correct!

We are doing great! Vrenzy is keeping track of the Quidditch positions, and if there is a tie for the position the person who has read the most averaged pages will get the spot. So to make it easier for her to keep track we should start including the page numbers with our posts.
Also, if you would like to make a reserved post where you can personally keep track of how many pages and books you've read all in one spot you can. This is optional, but the other houses are doing it and it will make things easier for Vrenzy if there is a tie for Quidditch positions. (If you do this please make sure to still make a new post after you finish a book so I don't miss anything)
Sorry to change things, but I think this will make it easier to keep track of our top readers.
I have no idea why but I always thought this was a romance and so I avoided reading it when I was younger. I'm kind of glad I read it now because if I had read this when I was younger I would have felt like I was copying Charlie my last two years of high school. I really related to this book. A lot of the events and characters could have been pulled straight from my own memory.I agree with Renee about letters being informal, but completely understand why someone wouldn't like this writing style.
