Well I finished Pictures and overall thought it was ok. not overwhelming either way. What did you guys think?

hey, so I've been slowly reading Pictures of You and I was wondering what you both thought? I'm honestly having a hard time getting invested in the plot, and I'm not exactly sure why..

Those are valid points, Karen!
The ones I saw had a list of books and type of genres in the front then more detailed pages throughout and you could put your thoughts, review, who you would recommend the book to, and write quotes all in the pages.
My thinking would be it might be beneficial to keep notes throughout the book while I'm reading and I'm a huge fan of quotes so I'd like to write them down while reading.. but I could do the same with a regular notebook and I've never done it as it's hard to carry a notebook and and a book, etc. And remember to write things down while reading
I guess my conclusion is it probably wouldn't be worth it after all lol...
Well thank you for being my sounding board lol ;-)

So I have a weird question for you guys... I came across reading journals and they look really cool but I am wondering if a)would I use it and b)is it worth it since I have Goodreads...so do either of you use a reading journal and/or do you find they're useful?

We actually already read the other one together ;-)
I can start Pictures of You today if you already have it :-)

I'm all for reading that book; I still have not read it :-)
Karen - did you want to read that, too?
Erin - let me know when you have it, and are ready to read it :-)

I don't mind suggesting books... I figured we'd continue what we were doing, where the person 'choosing' that month provides a few options for everyone to decide... so my suggestions are:

Hi!! It's great to hear from you guys, I hope you're doing well. I would love to start this up again! 😊

Hey everyone, I realized I never updated this so I finally finished Play Dirty in June or July I think, and I enjoyed it. I agree with you Dano - it did wrap up quickly.
I hope you all are doing well and get to enjoy the Holiday season! :-)

Nice! I'm still working on Play Dirty. it's kind of hard to read a paperback while trying to breastfeed my baby girl.

thank you, Karen! I hope you have been doing well also.

Works for me, hope you all have a great April & read a lot of great books, see you in May ;-)

I'm so glad you liked it Karen!

Ahhh, please dont hate me... I haven't even really started yet! :-( The past two weeks have been crazy with work - I'm trying to get ready for my maternity leave (due in 3 weeks with my first, a baby girl) & I've been training someone so it's just kind of doubled my work so by the time I come home I'm too exhausted to read :-/
I WILL read the book though, it just might not be for a few more days at the earliest lol

I honestly haven't started it yet :-(
Work has been crazy busy this week & this weekend is pretty busy too but my hope is to start this coming week.

Nice :-)
Karen - I'm about halfway through Saint Anything & I'm loving it so far :-)
