I know I love Grim! It was definitely an Aww moment when Puck asked for *that* before him & ash battled lol. I think there was another girl that they both liked & somehow Puck was involved in her death or she was severely injured. I forgot what exactly Puck said but it was something she wasn't supposed to get hurt... I don't remember though :(
hopefully we find out in this book... although I think I'd be ok with reading the next in the series.

I personally love Ash and Meghann... I think Ash is actually really nice but plays the bad guy because of who he's related to.

It's getting so good! I loved the scene where Meghann outsmarts the faery guarding the entrance from the club.

I have a theory that her real dad is the Iron King and not Oberon and he's the one she remembers too. And he took Ethan to bring her to him so they could be reunited.

Hi and welcome! We are currently reading The Iron King and it really depends on your preferences of when you want to share your thoughts. None of us really mind spoilers so if you're further ahead but want to share your thoughts go ahead & if we don't want any spoilers that day we just won't read your post lol ;-)
we usually pick a book around the beginning of the month to start reading around the 15th. We each take turns of choosing a couple suggestion books but then it's our choice of which one we read... if there's a 'tie' for which book to read then the original person who suggested the books gets to decide.

Karen - just wait until they go into NeverNever, it gets crazy. I just got to the part about Meghan meeting Prince Ash (winter queen's son & unseelie court knight). I think he's going to be an interesting character. Have you met Grimalkin yet? I think he is one of my favorite characters.

That stinks you didn't get it through your library but yay for getting the book lol... I couldn't resist & started reading this week & so far I'm really enjoying it. It's an interesting world that the author creates. I can't wait to read what you guys think of it :-)

I agree that the author just cutting to the epilogue was frustrating & to be honest it was confusing... at first I thought he killed Deb but once it became clear it was Laguardia I was very relieved. Even though I didn't like Deb as a character I would have been very mad if Dexter & his brother killed her lol

As for Iron King I think I'm next on the list to get it so hopefully it'll be soon. I'll let you know though :)

I finished the book & overall I liked it but I wasn't overly surprised I guess. In the TV show the killer turns out to be his brother as well but Laguardia isn't there & therefore doesn't die so that's different and I'm pretty sure Deb was passed out so she doesn't know about Dexter killing people or that the killer was his brother. I do have to say that I enjoyed his banter within himself much more in the book than in the TV show ...I even laughed out loud at times.

Hi guys! My plan is to finish Dexter tomorrow... today I ran my first ever 5k & I'm a bit worn out lol ...I'm excited for the twist :-)

I am also super happy we have kept this up too... it's wicked fun & I get to read books I normally wouldn't plus talk to someone about it. Plus it's not as strict on a deadline like other book clubs and more personal since we're a small group which is awesome :-)

Hi guys, I haven't been reading as much either... but my hope is to finish Dexter within the next few days.

I agree with you guys, Deb is whiny and I don't think deserves to be a cop since she relies on Dexter to figure out the crimes - but at the same time, I don't think half of the cops on the force should be cops since they care about politics more than catching the right criminals.

I'll request Iron King and let you guys know when I get it :-)

I agree, Deb is very naive & that makes her act like a moron lol ...but I have to say that Detective Laguardia is worse... I mean really she just can't see anything besides how she can get higher in the department.

My first pick would be the Iron King but Doctor Sleep also sounds interesting... I haven't had much luck reading Kings books though (I can never seem to get drawn in to them) & I've never read the Shining so I'm not sure if I'd need to.

I just got the part where he's killing the janitor & then the guard shows up...and of course that's how the chapter ends ...ah! lol. I am enjoying reading this book - it's a bit more enjoyable than the TV show for me :)

I'm so glad you liked it Karen! :-) I'm only about a quarter of a way through it but so far am liking it... the TV show sticks pretty close to the book so I keep replaying the episodes in my mind lol ... I can't wait to find out what the twist is.

I love Clarke & Bellamy! I think they'd be great together - I mean they're already a decent leadership team lol. that's so cool that you met them! :-)

So I finished the book I was reading & I really enjoyed it so I'll probably start Dexter tonight or tomorrow :-)

I love The 100! I watch it online the day after...although I usually wait until the weekend to watch it lol.

I have watched the first 2 seasons of Dexter but I kind of got out of it... I'm not sure why either but I just became uninterested in the plot I guess. It'll be interesting to see how close the TV show is to the book. I might wait until later this week to start it.. I'm trying to finish the book I'm reading now, which is really good :-)

It might be, but we don't have an antenna or anything... we just use the Internet & Netflix :-) but I've been watching some highlights and keeping up with the news so that's been ok. Just not as good as watching live lol

Erin- what did you think of the twist regarding Ballam's daughter? I read your review & do agree with you that some of the deaths were convenient & just bam, done.

Work and life in general has been crazy busy for me, so I haven't been reading as much as I want to, either. I guess it's just that time of year LOL

I don't have cable so I am unable to watch the Olympics, which I'm so sad about... I've tried watching online and can't find anywhere that doesn't make you sign in to watch, which appears to be the way a lot of stations are going to, which is becoming frustrating. But, I've been trying to follow the highlights as much as possible. What's your favorite sport(s) to watch? Mine are tennis and beach volleyball, although I enjoy swimming and gymnastics, too.

I really didn't like One Eye at the beginning but as we learn more about him I grew to really enjoy his character -but I won't tell you whether or not he turns evil... I'll let you find out for yourself :)
I also felt that Six Dove was worse than Balam, but I felt bad for how things ended with her... (wait till you read about the fate of the daughter)... and Jade Sky was really sweet - I almost cried during that scene when Kaan finds her.

Balam has more decisions to make & then change his mind on LOL :)
