Adrianne Brooks, The Dragon King and IThea Harrison, Dragon Bound
Stacie Simpson, Releasing the Dragon
Natalie J. Damschroder, Soul of the Dragon (didn't love it)
Penelope Fletcher, Smolder (just holds on, the second book can send me intro a rant with no end on how many mistakes there are in it. And that's before you consider the editing nightmare. It sucks because the story itself has heaps of potential).

Gotta love finding 'that book'. I think you got some of it from the second book. All of your points were stop on... But the 'sister' factor only arrives in book two I think. Havent read it yet.

I actually picked up Dragon's Lair from someone else's hunt on this site... Do have to admit tho, by the time I got around to reading it, I picked it off the unread books on my iPad because it had been a while since I'd read anything about dragons... Imagine my surprise reading about a 'dragon' on a motorbike! I actually kept my opinion of it being about a real dragon right thru the first chapter. Was good tho, even f it was about bikers ;)

Ok. Def a hard copy. Probably a good 10-15 years ago (may have been a few years more, but don't know if the book was new)-She was kidnapped as a teen
-Think she was transported in a crate in the back of a ute/truck
-The creat was build to fit prices of art work upright (so square-ish standing upright to the cab of the truck)
-Think there was a moment when someone was standing right beside her in the crate, but she was unable to move/scream etc
-at some point he burnt her breast with pair of heated cooking tonges (the ones with the wavy edges)
-I keep thinking of the desert and a caravan... but could be wrong
-her young daughter (maybe adopted or not, either way) took he lipstick one day and said look mine is like yours after she'd drawn the burn marks in her chest like mummy's.

Maybe,Emma Mills, Witchblood series
Erica Stevens, The Captive Series Bundle: Books 1-4 series
C.M. Owens, Daughter of Aphrodite trilogy or The Devil's Artwork, only the first book is loaded on iBooks, which is killing me
Anne McCaffrey, Nimisha's Ship
Traci Harding, Dark Age, The series or Gene of Isis series.
Julie Kagawa, The Immortal Rules trilogy
I'm sorry, I just keep thinking of more and slapping me upside the head for not remembering soon!Traci Harding, Dark Age, The series and Gene of Isis series. There is some magic, some dragon, some time travel ... and some kick-ass martial arts.
Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dragonswan, dragon noveletteNalini Singh, Angels' Blood, angels & vamps. I love her changeling series too.
C.M. Owens, Daughter of Aphrodite, three book series including gods.
Erica Stevens, The Captive Series Bundle: Books 1-4, vamp series.
Deborah Harkness, A Discovery of Witches, vamp & witches trilogy... Personally, I have real issues with book three, but love the characters and storyline.
J.R. Ward, Dark Lover, first in the series of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
R L Mathewson, Tall, Dark & Lonely, first in series with vamps.
Julie Kagawa, The Immortal Rules, first in vamp trilogy.
Kristen Ashley, Until the Sun Falls from the Sky, first in vamp trilogy.
Adrianne Brooks, The Dragon King and I, dragon obviously.
Stacie Simpson, Releasing the Dragon, dragons, vamps and others.
Penelope Fletcher, Smolder, dragons... I hesitate to add this one as she apparently forgot the first book when writing the second... Therefor, there are all sorts of conflicting details, plots, characters, the lot.
Thea Harrison, Dragon Bound, dragons and shifter, I've only read the first.
Tina Folsom, Samson's Lovely Mortal, vamp series, have only read the first.

That's not the Marriage Bargain I'm thinking of...The Marriage Bargain or
The Marriage Bargain
It could be one of Marie Kelly's but am pretty sure she's electronic only.
Is it one of those 'the tycoons...' or 'the billionaires...' books?

You could try giving the library a call and see if they can look it up for you. The Marriage Bargain was my first thought too. Sadly, I'm pretty sure I have lots of these book, so will have a look. The MB is the one where he is looking and his sisters friend (all kids together) needs financial help with her little sister?
That might all be mixed up... Will have a hunt now.
