Baby Trap (6 new)

185 I think I need to reread it.

I know I've read several of these types, but the only one coming to mind has a back story of a woman getting pregnant on purpose to get to his money.

185 Are you sure it's not Three Wishes by Kristen Ashley? He's not Scottish that I know of, and it's

185 Sounds interesting

185 I don't think people realise their headers are effectively their 'posters'. Or maybe they think 'no details' will encourage people to look into it...?

If someone lost a dog and put up posters saying 'lost dog', or had a concert and put up posters saying 'concert'... and that's it... How many people do they think are actually going to get off their ass and think about, let alone ask about, or look for those missing details on a strangers behalf?

No, at the very least, a lost dog would include a description and probably last seen details. A concert would have details on who's playing, where and when.

As for this site, everyone's looking for a book, so a straight generic 'looking' means squat... and basic details like HR, Contemp, H is an asshole, h where's a dress etc, just leave the field so far open that it's not really worth looking for what could be one of hundreds of thousands that the 'looker' has never even heard of.

Now if the header includes further details like h runs a bar or is a lawyer, or there is a scene like this etc, every detail just makes it that much more enticing for 'lookers' to give it a go. And if the added details end up cancelling the lost book out of someone's already read list, it just might spark an interest in them wanting to read the book, so you get even more people keeping an eye out, if not actively looking for your book.

Sorry, preaching to the choir right?

I still remember reading a reply from a thread owner to a few suggestions thrown their way, at how rude it was for 'lookers' to suggest options for their new book request (or maybe it was a missing book?)... WITHOUT HAVING THE DECENCY TO TAKE THE TIME TO CLICK THROUGH TO THE OWNERS GR PROFILE AND FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THEIR CURRENT LISTS...?!? Perhaps some people somehow don't see or take notice of just how many threads there are in this group?

Sorry, I think I woke up on the wrong side of the soap box 🙄
185 Cool, I'll keep hunting (my lists have gone wacko - I've finally got the 'numbers' back on the lists, but I click in one and end up in another 'mixed' list :/ -, so I'm just searching the whole big list), and keep that one in mind too. MAY be the same one you're looking for, but there's a chance it's not.
185 No, that's ones def not the Gifting one. The gifting has a psych hospital doesn't it? The mind reading is taboo/illegal somehow maybe and if anyone caught they are in heaps of trbl. The h & H meet each other at school I think, but she runs into him at the centre where they are both 'quietly' shrinking.
185 No worries... My lists all went flatline and were showing only 1 or 2 books here and there. Will have another look when they sort themselves out again.

I am still having trouble connecting the other dots you mentioned, so I'm reading threw my reviews to try and jog the memories. There's one book bashing around my head, but I don't think it's it. The h def comes back with her mother, turns out the mothers the aunt and the parents were 'special'... maybe from opposite sides of the good/bad (or whatever) line they had going on, so no one wanted them together or to have a baby. Some kind of light magic etc. Her possible H, who turns out to just be a BFF was sent to watch over her by the group cause he was near her age bracket. She blood sisters with her female BFF in town so that she can trust her to tell her all the weird stuff starting to happen, and that has huge unexpected consequences later.
185 I'm in... Sounds really good!
185 I'm just taking pot shots at my list at this point cause some of your details don't match my memory (all I can really remember it the tennis scene ATM).

185 Ha, crap! Now I just have to remember the book 8/

Lol, I've read it in the last 2/3 years, so I'll start going through my lists and get back to you ;)
185 Karen Swart for Hellhound Awakened. It's unlikely to be your book tho as the chick is not half Angel like the one in Angelbound. Still a good read tho with the angels and war etc.
185 The tennis game... did the guy in his 'more than standard human' opinions not expect her to give him any challenge just like everyone else? And was surprised when she held up against him? I think everyone else thought the same thing and they were all watching by the end of the game...?
